These work great! I’ve only used the darker inks so far, but after I drew a line and sewed on the line and then ironed it - the ink disappeared- even under the thread. If you need help seeing lines this is a good way to go or if you want to erase any marks you need to put on your fabric. Very cool. They came with a set of refills too. Very good instructions on the package for how to use them.

I'm new to these and I love them. Worked exactly as promised but...each cartridge sure don't last long! I think they should be loaded up more because I used up half a cartridge with just one project. Basic markings, not more markings than any other dress with darts & various marks project. Plus the white cartridges(they include replacement cartridge) were old and yellow crusty but I didn't care. I use wet Q-tips dipped in chalk for marking darks, works like a charm. But the lines are perfect, precise and really Do last until you apply heat the poof! gone right before my eyes.

The white pen arrives dried out and unusable. The replacement cartridge work fine and the pen will be perfect for tracing patterns. So great product except for the fact that I don’t have a replacement for the white cartridge. A replacement white cartridge would make me a satisfied customer.

I have been sewing for the past 71 years...yes, you read that right; I started sewing doll clothes when I was six and had made my first outfit by the time I was 12! I will say this right out...these pens are absolutely the BEST sewing aid I've ever owned! The four-color choice ensures that there is a pen for whatever color you need to mark. I love the ease of use and wish I had thought to take pictures of how they look on fabric, but it's too late; the jobs are done and the markings have been "erased" with the iron. I will definitely be checking this website out to see what other exciting (and, Lord, how my definition of things that excite has changed over the years, LOL) products they offer!

I've tried so many fabric markers that do not work, but this one works perfectly!! Just a heads up, it says that they should be used within 4 months

I've only had the opportunity to use a couple of the pens - the blue and black work fine. Made the mistake of assuming they would all work only to find out the white is not working - acts like it's dried up. Others seem to work fine.

First off, I'd like to say, of all the heat or friction pens I've used, these ones are superior to the others. The ink flows well once you get them started up, the black and blue are nice a thick, the white is great, but does take a little bit to turn a thick not opaque white. On top of that, the ink doesn't disappear with the heat of my hands, however if you make a mistake, you can use the steam from boiling water, I've also used boiling water on an old watercolor brush for very precise spots. It removes the spots pretty fast. Now, for some advice. Whatever you do, if you live in a hot part of the world... DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR OR SUN. That was my mistake. That is not at all on the company that makes these. If you leave them in the heat, the ink either completely stops working, and you basically end up with invisible ink(lol that sounds dumb), or the ink becomes extremely faded. This is just a word of caution. A hilarious one. But overall, I would be more than willing to buy these over and over again.

Just put two iron-on vinyl decals on two t-shirts using Madame Sew's erasable marking pens. Wow, just wow! The shirts were black and I have always had problems with marking on those, but with these pens there was NO problem at all. I used the white pen and it showed up extremely well. I was a bit disappointed to find that these pens have a shelf life of around four months so knowing that it was stated that cold makes them show up again, I had an idea and it seemed to work. I put my pens in their box in my refrigerator. The white pen was supposed to show up a few seconds after putting it on, but when I used mine after having been in the fridge, the ink showed up immediately. I am keeping my fingers crossed that by keeping them in the cold they will last a lot longer than the four months I was told. The only problem I had was one of the red pens had not been closed at the factory and the ink drained out. After contacting Madame Sew about it, they immediately sent out not only a new pen, they also sent out 3 refills! I will definitely buy more of the pens when my free ones run out using the coupons enclosed in the boxes. I just LOVE these things! I will also be checking out Madame Sew when I need anything else in the sewing/fabric world because they impressed me with their quick answer to my problem with their product. Thank you Madame Sew for having these.
