There are some things you need to remember. On the back of the battery cover is the admin log in information. (Need to take out battery) I highly suggest changing the name of your network immediately, and also setting up a new Wifi password you or your family can remember. The default one setup by the device won't be too secure. Next if you connect your tablet or computer to this device, I suggest pausing updates or updating your unit over your own Wifi before connecting as these can eat up lots of data. The connection is pretty good overall and I usually average out 3 to 4 bars strength in some areas. Keep in mind that hotspots are not for everyone and depending on your usage you may find you burn through a lot of data in one sitting. It's design to give you internet on the go, rather then be a continuous link to the internet. But a whole lot better than being on a public wifi network.

Fun little gadget to experiment with having portable WiFi if your phone and plan do not allow for a Hotspot. I need to test out the different plans to see which provides the best coverage, but the device itself is portable and can't wait to test it out more when traveling.
