First, let me say that the assembling instructions is the worst instructions I've ever seen! I previously assembled a scooter, which had incomprehensible instructions, and I thought that was the worst. Well, at least I could try to understand it. This one has NO instructions at all. It just says, put on the front wheel! Luckily, they do show a video of assembling the bike, which is helpful. Unluckily, my bike ended will squeaky front wheel, and after long hours of trying to adjust the brake and looking at youtube videos, I took it to the bike shop REI and they fixed it beautifully for a small charge. They said both the front brake (which I worked with) and the back brake (which came already installed) were rubbing and needed adjustment. The seller even reimbursed the repair cost even though I didn't ask for it, which is very nice of them, and is why I give it 5 stars despite the brake problem. But it would be even better if they had detailed instructions and videos on how to adjust the brake to remove the squeaking. They don't even need to make their own repair videos; just look for the ones online that's relevant to this bike, and then send the customers the links and time interval to watch, so I don't have look for repair videos myself. Now that my bike is running good, I enjoy it very much! It's my first ebike and I really love the feeling of getting a boost when I can't pedal fast enough, so I can go as fast as I want while pedaling as much or as little as I want! And the first time I rode through the mall, a young beautiful girl called out at me, "Cute bike!" (My first bike compliment!) It's so small that it makes me feel very safe to ride it. Big bikes scare me - I feel like I might fall off or hit someone. This bike is so small and I feel completely in control. It's still very heavy at 50 some pounds, but so small that I feel confident lifting half of it. Despite the small wheels, It feels smooth riding. The price is so amazing that it's worth buying the 2 year protection plan. I mean, my local bike shop REI charges more for one ebike tune up than the entire price of this bike! So if it lasts 2 years, I'm already way ahead! One more idea that I didn't realize until I got the bike: this bike is great for Uber. With my other bike, I can't put it in a car, but this thing is small to start with, and then it even folds easily, so it pack in a car or Uber's trunk if necessary. I should point out that this bike's warranty is only for 100km, or 60 miles. Being that I ride 4 miles a day, that's just 2 weeks. For the price, I'm not complaining, but that's why I think it's good to buy the protection plan if they are offering it. ... show more

When i received the m40 bike one of the first things I did was put the battery on the charger. While the charger light came on no lights lit on the battery. After an over nite charge the battery still was not charged. I have sent a message to isinwheel but after a day and a half have no reply.

This bike definitely was not easy to put together as other comments say. I actually had to take it to a bike shop for it to be professionally done even though it didn't take them very long, it was much easier than trying to do it by myself and they were much more knowledgeable. The instructions get confusing and the video doesn't exactly narrate what to do. So if you do decide to buy this bike, which is actually a very good bike, just be aware of that. ... show more

First off I know Jack about mountain bikes and Jack about electric bikes. I haven't ridden a bike since my teen years. But I am turning 40 in July and wanted to add some exercise into my daily routine and have been thinking about a mountian bike for a while now. But just recently I kept seeing ads about e bikes and finally pulled the trigger for an early bday gift. After much research and looking and shopping around, the price I got this bike I believe was a steal. Keep in mind when going through Amazon you are going to pay s+h so expect and extra 150 to 200 on the price point for any e bike, I did not find any with free shipping. Either way I was excited and here's some things I wanted to point out for new timers like myself. 1. This bike is perfect for the price especially for new e bike owners. There are other options and can easily go into the 1000s price range but you are paying for more battery which means more life and speed. The "best bike" is around 2000 and will get you a range of about 70-90 miles and 40-60 mph depending on brand and bike. This one gets you between 45-55 miles depending if using pedal assist or all electric and 20mph. For a grown *** man trying to not break anything, that's plenty. 2. The video instruction provided on the product page by the company, there's also another tutorial from a buyer, made assembly easy. It took me around 40 minutes only because I was a little over gentle and I was oohing and awwing the whole time like a little kid. 3. Awesome bang for your buck, Im not trying to go down mountains but there are dirt trails near my house and riding through neighborhoods it's a joyous ride. I'll tell you after not riding a bike for about 25 years riding this thing was so invigorating. It was fun, it was exercise, it got me out of the house and just able to free my mind, I loved it. Now here's a downer but with a silver lining. I popped my back tire. After 30 minutes and almost 5 miles my last little lap I clipped my back tire going over a curb. I was being a little adventurous and going full throttle and tried bunny hopping over a curb. I'm not a big man but my weight plus the weight of the bike (easily 50 lbs) it was totally my fault. I broke my new toy. I was devastated and knew I had to fix/replace the tire. But remember, I'm new to bikes and the bike tire looks intimidating to remove with all the chains and gears so I contacted the seller/company through Amazon. They were extremely helpful and extremely timely. I already bought fix a flat as well as new upgraded inner tubes but they sent me a tutorial video how to replace the back tire as well as new inner tubes. They didn't have to but that kind of customer appreciation speaks volumes. So long story short, if your a beginner and don't need some crazy suped up electric mountain bike, get this one. You won't regret it. If you do plan on being a little more adventurous than me and really going up and down more treacherous trails I would suggest having some upgraded inner tubes and tires (26x1.95) and also a portable air compressor. Purchased for my 13 year old so I didn’t wan something too fast or too expensive. this e-bike is perfect. He rides it every day! It has very good mileage on full charge, and it’s not too fast so it doesn’t have to be registered. And you can still manually pedal if the battery runs out. It was fairly easy to assemble too. Just need to make sure you put more air in the tires before riding so you don’t pop a tire. ... show more
