I waited for a few months to write this review so I could see how these LED lights really stack up. First, I was nervous they wouldn't be bright enough, but they are plenty bright. Second, I was concerned there wouldn't be sufficient sunlight in the back of my southern facing home to adequately charge the batteries, but this hasn't been a problem at all. Finally, I wanted to ensure these lights could withstand freezing temps without becoming brittle and cracking, and also withstand rain without developing condensation and again they have performed flawlessly. The last item is the motion detectors which I find respond with the appropriate level of sensitivity. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend these high quality attractive lights!

I liked these so much that I got another set. I have a large back yard and my dinky porch light doesn't give off enough light to see all the spots in the back yard. NOW I can see everywhere when I let the dog out at night. I got these to also help with a possum problem and the dog. Before getting these lights the dog had found the possum hiding behind a trash can as he was heading to the far back of the yard and the dinky porch light provided nothing in spotting it until he was upon it. Now when he goes out, he sets these solar lights off as he travel the yard looking for the perfect spot to go potty. NOW we can checkout the entire yard and see what is out there before I release him to take care of business. Any possum walking along the fence line will also set off the lights. When I'm at the back of the house, if I see the lights go on out back, I know there is something out there. These are so great that I'm wondering where else I can hang them. Would recommend these to anyone who wants to add more security to there home. Price was great and shipping was perfect as well.

I ordered a total of 4 sets, one I had to return because there was a short in 1 of the 2 in the set, the light would come on and go immediately off. However, these are great all around except for 2 things, both major design flaws: 1. on other models (such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C73ZMCXW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ) the solar panel itself can swivel, as well as the lights. However, with this model, the solar panel itself is fixed, so it cannot be angled down to get more light in a spot where the sun does not directly hit it from noon onward. 2. Other models have the light snap securely into the plastic flange that is screwed to the house. This one does not snap on, but mere sets loosely in place, and could easily be knocked off, or is someone wants to evade the security light, he can simply lift it off and turn it off or steal it. Granted, whether fastened or not someone can simply rip it off, or turn if off, if he has one himself and knows how to turn it off; but the LESS EASY it is for criminals to circumvent the security measures, the better. Good product (IF it lasts) designed without foresight.

Everything is working fine. The light is surprisingly bright but it will depend how much sun it can reach, like with any other solar product. My first light receives plenty of sun and is very bright at night. The other I really need to move since it's in a terrible spot and it's brightness suffers as a result. Mind you, don't think when I say very bright it means blinding light. If you want blinding light then do the legwork and install 110 volt lighting. This is very bright for a solar light if you're used to buying them on Amazon. It's a lottery to find a good one. I imagine I'd be hard pressed to find some major brand light if they even exist that would be brighter via solar, and let's be honest here. Their product would probably come from the same exact factories... Motion detection seems pretty great to me. It kicks in well before you walk past the light. Maybe it's not ground breaking, earth shattering early, but it kicks in well before you reach the light and that works for me. We'll see how it holds up over time but for the price I don't expect it to last many years, and that shouldn't be a con when the price is the price. The con here is these products tend to disappear from production because they got drowned out in search from everything else. I hope this one stands the test of time. It'd make for easy replacing in the future but I understand, there's a thousand different lights out there, and there's a hundred different lights that match this one's performance and price, and not everything is gonna make it. We'll see! Every person who takes the time to review is one review closer to ensuring it stays around in searches.

I recently bought 4 lights and have been very happy with the brightness and motion detection. I have them on the fence around my chicken coop to deter critters and it works great. Turns on for about 10 seconds, then off to conserve battery. One of the 4 did not work when I received it and I am happy to say they sent a replacement, with no questions asked. The seller is very responsive and open to suggestions. I suggested they consider a replaceable battery in the future so you wouldn't have to throw them away when the battery dies.
