This is a really well-done product that gets it right.I wanted a plug-in night light, motion and/or low-light sensing, and adjustable brightness. I wanted a product that looked good, but did not have "distracting" product design. It's a night light, not artwork. This product delivered. The look is sleek but not "too much". The motion detector works great. The light level is adjustable over five settings which is more than I was hoping for, and made it perfect for the bathroom. You can also set it so it goes on in the dark and stays on -- not motion. This is useful in some settings -- I have one at the end of hallway set that way. The electrical plug blades fold up, which I guess makes for a smaller package, but I don't see any practical use for this feature, unless you were packing these for use on trips. ... show more

These are a perfect amount of soft brightness. The one thing I did notice is if I have it set to stay on during just the dark, sometimes is will only work as if I had it set to motion only. Still good lights though.

So far these night lights have worked perfectly for us. We have 8 of them scattered throughout the house. On the dim settings they dont bother our night vision at all. On the brightest setting, for a night light, they are very bright. There are 1 - 5 brightness levels and all of ours are no higher than 3. The motion sensors have good sensitivity. There's not a single thing to dislike. The low profile is great. The only thing I could imagine would be having an even dimmer setting available at the low end of the light intensity settings. However, the lowest setting is already pretty dim.

I was looking for a motion detecting nightlight for the times I wake up in the middle of the night, that wouldn't disturb my sleep when I get back in bed, and these lights fit my needs perfectly. I placed it in the socket between the bathroom and the bed and by the time I get back in bed, it is turning off. the brightness is perfect once you set it to the level you want. if you need anything brighter, then just turn your overhead lights on. it is small and fits closely to the wall so I don't have to worry about banging into it. and the dog doesn't bother with it either. this is a great buy for the money, and I would recommend it to a friend. ... show more

The variable brightness levels are the main reason I purchased this product. Works amazingly well. Main reason was for the bathroom at night so you weren't woken by the bright light when you needed to use bathroom in the middle of the night. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again. Very well made.
