I have been very disappointed in this purchase, and I do not recommend this machine. It dehydrates incredibly uneven, even on single pieces of meat. I attached images to show the inconsistency. I had just rotated the racks, but at least my old round one cooked them all consistently. I have made three batches of jerky and all batches had pieces of undercooked meat in the same exact strip that they had overcooked meat. Some that were overcooked were hard to the point of breaking apart in sharp spikes, while the undercooked portions were still chewy like med rare steak would be. Bummed on this purchase as it does not work as expected, not even close.

The media could not be loaded. So far, after first use I am loving this dehydrator!! It’s quiet, and doesn’t over heat! The light turns off by itself. Only leaving it a 4 because of the temperature presets. Usually you dry fruit at 135 but on this it’s either 131 or 140. I did 140, no biggie. But otherwise it’s great! Jerky marinating for tomorrow!!

This is the first dehydrator I have ever owned and I love it! It is very easy to operate and very simple to clean. Other reviews I read complained about uneven drying but I don't really find this a problem. I check it around halfway through and just put the rack back in the other way or on a different level. Easy peasy. The racks and accessories are perfect for everything I have needed them for.

Shipping was later then stated. There is dents on the top. This appears to be a quality control issue. The oven was packaged nice and in this condition. Other then that the oven appears to be good. Haven't had a chance to use it but to the fact I just received it. The size is perfect for my intentions. I will keep an update.

This dehydrator dries evenly. You only need to rotate the trays 180 degres one during a cycle. And sometimes don’t need to rotate them at I dried tomato’s, yellow squash, and cucumbers with 100% success. I put all my dried vegetables in vacuum storage bags. Recommenddd.
