This light is beautiful in and of itself, and it really enhances my artwork. It was easy to install. It came with two screws and anchors, which are all that is needed to mount it. The remote control turns the light on and off, and allows you to illuminate the artwork at 50% or 100% of the light’s power. It also allows you to select the amount of time the light is on in 15 minute increments. I am deducting a star because the light only swivels left and right. I wish it would swivel up and down to change the amount of light cast on the artwork as well, but it doesn’t. ... show more

First and foremost this is well worth the money. That being said, it does look a little cheap. But that can't really be helped given the price point. The remote works well, even from across the room (aprox. 10-14ft), the timers work exactly as they should, and the option to choose between white and yellow light is phenomenal. All that being said, the unit is a fixed U-shape, and the arm doesn't articulate up and down so you get the positioning you get. I purchased this to place above my family pictures in my hallway so my pictures could be seen. I loved it so much I bought another one. One remote will control both lights. Use can choose how long it stays on but it doesn’t have a timer that makes it come on at a certain time. You can choose warm or daylight, how bright or dim it is. It works mostly fine for illuminating a painting 20Hx24w, but it does not catch the sides and bottom fully with light. For the price and ease of installing along with the remote, I’m happy!

This is a bit flimsy. The battery covers don't snap nicely into place, and the mounting plate is a bit sloppy. However, these issues don't matter once the item is installed. Note that the gooseneck is NOT flexible.

Nice little light and easy to install. Do not know how long the batteries will last. I wish the arm would adjust up and down for better lighting options. I'm keeping it because I have already drilled the holes for it but it is just "ok".
