Absolutely addicted to these lights. We were trying to get back to the old school incandescent natural lighting. Mission succeeded. The brightness is absolutely perfect for the bedroom and other rooms where you don't want harsh white blinding LEDs. We will absolutely be ordering more of these.

I am SO glad I found these incandescent lights. I’ve become extremely sensitive to lighting and these have helped me so very much. I love how warm and cosy they feel; they create the perfect ambiance for a bedroom, living room, and dining room. I felt an IMMEDIATE difference when I switched the LED lights out for this. It took a little while for the rest of the family to get used to the “orange-ness,” but now we cannot go back and we all notice the great difference. These are quite large, but they do fit a regular lamp (see photo). They’re compatible with most light fixtures (haven’t found one it doesn’t fit yet). I’ve also bought a smaller size for smaller lamps. I just had one blow out last night after a thunder storm (3 months since buying) but all other 7 are holding up strong. I actually realized one of our incandescent lights — the only one we had — which looks exactly like this one, has actually last us 4 years, whereas I’ve blown through countless LEDs, so I’m not convinced that they burn out “took quickly.” One other thing I’ve observed is that these are more sensitive to power fluctuations in general; any time our AC turns on, they slightly dim then return for 1/2 a second, but I love these so much I could never go back to LEDs. ... show more

I personally returned them due to the lights being too yellow for the newly remodeled area I purchased them for. However, I have zero complaint about the lights themselves. They're exactly what they are and should be. I purchased two boxes, every bulb worked, the package was well protected in shipment and the bulbs looked nice. They were simply too yellow given the space and semi-enclosed light fixtures that I purchased blocking too much of the light, and I had never utilized Edison style bulbs before, so I was unprepared. Do your homework and order the proper style bulb for your space. These are great, just not right for mine. Also, I have 15 year old dimmer switches (unknown what brand), and want to report that in the short time I put them in and tried them before acknowledging my mistake with the light selection, that the dimming feature worked perfectly. Less hum than the traditional bulbs that were in before, and they looked amazing on super low, which in doing research I have heard some people complain about with some edison style bulbs. ... show more

Not nearly as bright as I had hoped. The lamps I’m using don’t have dimmers so perhaps the preset is on the lowest setting ? I’m still keeping them because they seem like the best available. I do however, wish that they were brighter. They do get very warm so maybe if they were brighter then they would get far too hot. They do put out a lovely and inviting ambiance all throughout my home. I get excited when the sun goes down so I can turn my lamps on. ... show more

I love these. I use these instead of regular light bulbs. Nice warm and natural light. They work in any standard lamp or even ceiling fixture. Last a long time and compare better to regular light bulbs. A little more expensive but worth it.

I have been using this for a while now and I haven't change the bulb yet so it is long lasting. I think it is about 6 months. I like that its antique vintage style and it is incandescent. It like that it is amber and it is good for the eyes not like the LED which can strain the eyes. Natural lighting is the best type of lighting.
