The price is lower than competitive brands with similar features. The quality of looks, fit & finish, performance are all great. I returned a competing brand and ordered 2 of these because these have the the override feature to make them turn on and leave them on by switching the wall switch on and off twice.... switch off and on to return to normal operation. Sensitivity is great, turns on at the slightest movement at a great distance. The adjustments to the angle/direction of the 2 LED pods are well designed, requiring no tools to place securely in the directions to get the best coverage. The light output is like daylight, and extremely bright. My only suggestion is that they provide the cross bracket with slots that will accommodate size 10 screws, as well as the provided size 8 screws, as my existing wall box had 10/24 threads. ... show more

Arrived on time in good condition. Instructions were clear and straight forward. Installation onto existing outdoor box was simple. Works as advertised with bright light. However motion sensor is not as sensitive as hoped. Deduct 1 star.

*EDIT- great replacement policy great customer service new light works great. After trying to change out the lighting at our new cabin we were highly dissappointed that only one of the lights worked on this unit. They are led and set it cannot be removed to change out and are hard wired, so a waste of 1/2 hour removing old one and putting up this. The return process was simple enough but quality control should really check these things. My husband is an electrician and the issue is within the housing so he was not messing with it. The LUTEC 2500 Security Light is attractive, very bright, well constructed and easy to install. My only complaint - if I have one at all - is that there appears to be either a delay of several seconds before the lights come on, or the sensors have a very narrow field of view (i.e., someone could trigger the lights and begin their mischief before the lights even shine). It's hard to tell because if you test one theory you have to hide in you neighbors yard and wait 10 minutes before testing another. I'm not that intent on testing it out. ... show more
