I desperately needed a good back support belt. I have numerous things going on in my lower spine, that were causing major pain in my legs, and needed something that will keep everything together. THIS IS THE BELT!!! I can't say enough great things about it! The mesh elastic helps keep you cool and not having to sweat while wearing it! The mesh, is loose enough so you can adjust the placement of the belt. The width, is perfect as well! It is wide enough to cover the full Lumbar spine/tailbone. I had a belt, that we got from a different store, and it was horrible...very short, hot, and didn't feel like there was a lot of support. My favorite feature about this belt? It is the 2 additional straps on the side. You feel an obvious pull/tightness when closed. It helps you get real support, that is evenly distributed along the length of the belt. It feels comfortable, but not restrictive. Is helping me to be more active, so I can walk to strengthen my muscles.

I had recently slipped a disc and my chiropractor recommended that I get one. This is very comfortable and it fits great. Love that it has the adjustable Velcro on as I can put it behind me and have a easy time getting it around me to stay in place. This will be getting a lot of use.

This does provide some amount of support, so I'm keeping this above 3-stars, but it doesn't provide as much as I had expected. It comes with both metal and plastic support strips. The manual says that the plastic strips are there as they're lighter, but I didn't really think that the metal ones that come pre-installed in the brace were that much heavier. I tried the brace on and off multiple times while standing, bending (forwards and backwards) and sitting. I did notice a mild amount of support while wearing it, but not nearly as much as I had expected based on the design of the brace and the included metal support strips. This is the first back brace that I've tried, so I don't have anything to compare this against. Maybe this is the amount of support a back brace is expected to provide. If so, then I just don't think back braces are worthwhile. I have to imagine that there are others out there that will provide more support, however.

The LusiaDEW Back Brace for Men & Women offers multiple choices for back support. I have tried it on and worn it for a short amount of time. I wish I would have had it last winter when I moved some heavy pots that contained olive trees and when I stood up my back let me know I should not have done that. The pain was severe. If I had been wearing this brace to support my back I would either not have injured myself at all or not as bad. The brace is comfortable to wear and the only issue I have is that I wish it stayed in place on my lower back instead of riding up.

This is a good supportive back brace. Easy to put on, easy to adjust, and you can still move around while wearing it. It was true to the size chart and fit me well. I really like the mesh material as it breathes and is much cooler if you are moving things around. I also like the removable supports, this makes it nice to adjust the amount of support you need. Out of the back braces I have tried in my lifetime, this one is pretty nice, It will be my go to for now!

The breathable mesh material keeps it cooler, especially compared to neoprene supports. The metal splines seem more flexible than the thicker plastic but they're both pretty stiff. You can easily replace one with the other or just leave them out if that works. It has a large section of loops to fasten and adjust the hook belts so it's easy to get it as tight as you want as well as adjust the angle. 29'5" to 33.5" = S. It's recommended that if you're borderline, order the next smaller size down. With a 33" measurement ordered a small which gives about 1 1/2" of overlap to fasten the hook and loop belts. The next size up might have had too much overlap. The splines give great lower back support and the mesh allows wearing for a long time. Settled on the PVC plastic inserts for the moment for no particular reason. The only problem is it seems these are mainly for men, as the belt is a little narrow at the bottom when it comes to flaring hips. The bottom gets pushed up continually so needs to be wider with a bit of a flare built in. Even a bit narrower top to bottom might clear the wider hips. Still not bad overall for support, but they could make a model for women and not just say that the men's model is good for women. 4 stars

This brace is very stiff compared to another one I have, and I find that it impairs my mobility more. It's fine, and it works well for supporting my lower back if it's sore, but I don't think it's going to be my default that I'll reach for if I'm planning on being at all active. I can imagine the extra support being helpful if my back were REALLY having a bad time, but mostly I'm looking for back braces that just kind of lightly support my back early on when it starts to hurt. I've found that if I can catch it early and get things under control before it really flares up I can keep it from really flaring up. So I'm mostly looking for lighter support that I can stay active in comfortably.

It's not as sturdy as a weight lifting belt but this suits great for everyday stress and pain relieve. If you have had a crouching issue or prolonged back pain issue, this may be a great help. It braces your core quite well, while not entirely restricting your range of motion. But it does add a bit confinement to your stomach area so it's not the most comfortable to wear all day long. Has it's up and downs but for the most part it works well and alleviates my long-term lower back pain quite a bit. Get me through the day.
