    • Beautiful Light But Battery Compartment Is Sketchy
I was immediately impressed with the beauty of this small desk light. It's simply lovely. It puts out just the right amount of light - it's what I call vibe light - not too bright and not too dark. It's well packaged and upon arrival I saw that all I need was two AA batteries (Not Included) but I also saw the sketchy battery compartment and think this could be a future problem or possible point of failure. First it's a hassle because unlike almost everything else that uses batteries, you have to have a small jeweler's screwdriver to open and close the battery compartment door. Once it's open you put in the two AA batteries but the door doesn't seat well and I had to kind of force it back on. I got it on there but I shudder to think I have to deal with that every time I replace the batteries. I would probably give this 3.5 stars if I could. It's not great but it's certainly not bad. ... show more

This is a VERY nice expensive looking small battery table lamp with a really nice thick glass shade. It has total West Elm or Crate and Barrel vibes which would have been much more expensive. I like that this is battery operated for areas where you don't have an outlet nearby. It doesn't put out much light so it is more of just a nice accent light with the way the ribbed glass sparkles on whatever is surrounding it. ... show more

This light is a nice and wide and is of good quality. On one hand, the battery operation is convenient to avoid that dreaded cord hanging and having to position near an outlet. On the other hand, I would have preferred the now more convenient USB charge capability. It seems anything that requires batteries has become a pain to keep up with - and I have the habit of curbing my usage because of fast draining battery life. It’s too bad though, because the glass is actually a pretty ribbed glass color and this size light has so many room options. It would be a good power outage light. It reflects a good amount of light. I also like the Edison bulb that came with this lamp. If you don’t mind a couple of batteries to power this light, I recommend this item. ... show more
