I've veen using the luvurcurls curl cream for about 2 years now. It is a must for my curly hair routine! It is the only product that I have found that helps keep my hair shiny, helps reduce my frizz and keeps my hair feeling light weight. After adding thus product to my regime, I have perfected my curls and can now go 5 days with my hair down in between wash days! I have never tried using it by itself. I use the luvurcurls cream mixed with Cantu curl cream, then I add not your mothers curl talk mousse and finish it off with kinky curling custard gel. ... show more

My hair routine is very simple and these pictures were taken after having the product in my hair a few hours and after laying on the couch watching TV for a while, so yeah there is a little frizz. This is the first time trying this product and overall, I like the smell, consistency and the results. I have been using Sebastian Potion 9 for about 15 years and nothing else had worked on my hair. My routine is simple, I shampoo my hair a few times a week and condition and comb out my hair in the shower as needed, I towel dry (not completely) and follow up with a leave in conditioner and let my hair air dry. This product smells good and I noticed my hair was curlier than it has been in a while. The curls were pretty. I applied this after my normal shampoo and did not use any other product. I'm looking forward to trying this again using a diffuser and to see how it lasts on a normal work day. Overall I recommend it. ... show more

If of the best curl creams I have tried in a long time. I also use their gel!! I do use their shamooo & conditioner as well at times! Sticky (on skin) but doesn't seem to have much hold on curls. The super high humidity and temps of "tornado season" in Oklahoma had this stuff melting out of my hair and down my face and neck... and yes, it is as disgusting as it sounds to be covered in curl cream when it's that hot and humid out! I don't recommend it at all! Really, this stuff is basically the same as OGX quenching + coconut curls, it smells and feels the same, but OGX is half the price, and doesn't melt out of my hair! Tried this product on my 9yo daughter’s curls. She has a very fine texture with a wavy looser curl (knot haven). We typically shampoo, condition, air dry and fix it up with a little water and go. It typically looks undefined and a little frizzy (4th picture attached in pink shirt). After our typical hair care we followed the steps in The video for this product: Section dripping wet hair, 2 pumps of product in each section, scrunch out excess water. The three first photos show dripping wet, partially dry and fully dry. We dont typically spend this much time on her hair, so after an hour with a gentle blow dry we gave up on trying to dry all the way and she needed to go to bed with partially wet hair. I was careful to lay her curls over the end of her pillow. When she woke In The morning we spritzed with water and smoothed with our hands. We are happy with the result! I’m going to invest in a diffuser and see if that help the drying process. ... show more
