It's really easy to set up, you just open the bag and it slowly expands. The length when in the futon position feels pretty good, it's definitely sturdy. It's lightweight and pretty easy to move. My issue is when it's in the couch position, it's just way too sturdy. It's also not as wide as i expected it to be or as tall. So if you like to lean back, this is not the product for you. This item is a great option for mixed used spaces. In my case, because of split custody the kids do not use the room full time, so for the weeks they are not here the room is a sitting room/craft room. This works great with the loft bed, I can use it as a standard bunk by putting it congruently underneath the loft bed, or turn it perpendicular to it for an L shape arrangement. Either one works with the sofa or a twin bed conversion. It can be used with a base or without. It is plenty comfortable as a mattress, it definitely does not feel like a TempurPedic, but it compares well to the memory foam mattresses of its class/price range. Definitely beats an air mattress or a pull-out couch or a futon in comfort and convenience.. In a sofa 'mode' it is more comfortable for kids or fit/compact adults due to the low height of the seat and the back. However, if it is used with a base and couch pillows- it's is not bad at all. It doesn't replace a regular sofa, but it wins the space back. I definitely recommend this item for its versatility for small spaces, vacation rentals and guest rooms. ... show more
