I'm 5'4", 140lbs . . . I'm also 66yrs old so I don't feel very comfortable or appropriate wearing my shorts too short or clothing too tight. My normal size is a medium, but I ordered this set in a L thinking I could always return them for M's if they were too big. First of all, I love them. The fabric is fantastic, the pockets (though too shallow for my phone) are great. I tried on the L when they arrived and immediately decided I was keeping them. I've attached photos of the shorts just pulled on without cinching the drawstring. They gap out a bit in the waist, but not so much so they're at risk of falling off. The legs are plenty roomy without looking like I'm wearing a skirt and I'm very comfortable with the length. I didn't order the M's to compare, b/c I'm very comfortable with this length and I have a feeling that the size L shorts are probably also a bit longer than the M's would be too. I've also attached a photo of the shorts cinched in using the drawstring. Yes, the drawsting causes a few more gathers around the waist, but I won't be wearing my shirts tucked in so I'm not at all bothered by this. Super happy with these.

Extremely comfortable LuLaRoe row comfortable level at least to me. i’m heavy sad so I don’t like things tight around my belly. It just reminds me I’m fat, but they’re also long enough where I don’t feel like my butt‘s gonna show when I bend over, I love the fact that they have a zipper pockets this way I don’t worry about my keys or cards falling out of my pocket if the pockets are too shallow or this are that you know what I mean? They’re not bad colors. I’m not very fond of the flashy colors, but I picked them. I think I can work with it like I love shirts that have color so my theory is if I change my shirts to more planner colors, my pants will pop either way, I love these pants Very comfortable as long as I don’t end up having a tear in between my legs or my crutches, I will continue to buy these pants for the rest of my life for whatever reason most of my pants get torn very very easily after five months of washing or longer my hope is that these pants Are durable enough to last me a good amount of time because I rarely spend money on getting myself new clothes if anybody understands parenthood, they would understand me and my financial state.

It fits alright, however, if you have a big or flabby stomach, the shorts do cling and show the stomach a little. The only two issues I have is that they are semi-transparent you can see the color of any undergarments underneath if it is a different shade. The other issue is that I struggle to fit my phone in the pocket. So if you have an iPhone 15+ and up, it is a bit tricky to get in the pocket.

Love the colors,fit, and length of inseam. Doesn't appear to shrink at all in the wash but line dried them outside instead of the dryer. If you want coverage, these will do fine. They don't ride up over your backside and stay put. Love the zip up pockets to keep spare change in or a phone. The thickness of the material looks like it will hold up pretty well.

I love these shorts!!! So comfortable for my needs. The hidden drawstring is a great feature, it eliminates any hanging strings. They are great and the pockets zip closed!!!!! They are so comfortable and they have pockets, that zip. I hated buying shorts and not thinking about if they had pockets in them so if I was out somewhere or just in the yard gardening, I had no word but keys or phone. And also, I don’t worry about losing my kids if I’m working out in the yard because of the on the pocket.

I loved the material as it was comfortable. I'm 5'7", between 145 and 150, and usually between a Med and Large, and on these, I ordered a Medium although I usually order Large, just to be on the safe side. Glad I ordered the Medium, because for me, they run slightly large, and the waist fit perfectly with no digging at all. The problem I had with these was, of the entire set, I tried on 3 of them, and on each one, the zippered pockets literally bulged out. It was tough to get a decent angle to show, but I think I captured it, even though the angle is rough. So any t-shirt I'd wear with them would stick out. It was so strange that the pockets didn't lay flat, because I love pockets. This flaw made them unwearable for me, although everything else was perfect. I like this company and think it is just a design flaw for these particular shorts. I'd still buy from them, but think I'll stay away from the zippered shorts and go with open pockets or even velcro pockets or toggle pockets. Anyways, some people didn't have a problem with this, but out of the 3 that I tried on, they were all the same with the bulging issue from the zipper. I returned them, but they were quality items other than that, with nice material, good stitching, and accurate color descriptions.

These shorts are fantastic! I don’t usually review items, but I read a lot of reviews about these as my body type is not the norm. First, the price can’t be beat. Second, the length is perfect for my short 5’ 0” body. I was looking for some “around the house” or “just walking around” type shorts. They are so light and comfortable. Nothing feels weird about them. The waistband doesn’t roll. They are true to size as I typically wear a 14/16 pant and I bought the XL. The light colors are a tiny bit see through, so just don’t wear black panties with the white shorts. Great shorts for the price point and my needs.
