First, those are not supposed to be very comfortable. They are just good. The price is very good. I assembled them in very short time. Package came complete with tools and 1 extra screw (for some reason). They are standing fine and the level adjustment is perfect so far.

These chairs are great for an average adult that just wants to sit and have something to drink… however for teens and kids they’re horribly unsafe and unstable. Kids will climb that’s just what they do and these are NOT safe for climbing. The bottom is just too small and not heavy enough to fully support the offset balancing of a human climbing up the side not to mention climbing chair to chair. They’re just not stable enough. If you don’t have kids then these are great! They look nice and they’re comfortable to sit in. Pretty easy assembly as well. Just be cautious with climbers.

I bought a couple sets to go in my new kitchen. I needed to be conscious of price since I only just bought the house and the holidays were approaching so needed to be thrifty. When I found these, I couldn't believe the price and was worried about the quality as a result. However, I was very pleasantly surprised!! They were quick and easy to put together, so comfortable to sit on, and seem pretty sturdy - we'll see how they stand the test of an active 5-year old! They look great, and were great value for the price. Perfect for what we needed.
