I got a new mattress cover because my old one was starting to look used, and I love that this one is darker because it will take longer to look used. Funny how my brain equates germs to things I can see when germs aren't something you can see. The covering fit well over my mattress. It does make noise beyond the mattress if I put concentrated pressure on it (like standing on it or pressing down on it), but rolling over in bed doesn't make any extra noise.
