Based on the price, I was skeptical at first, so I only bought 1 to see how it was, but I was very impressed so I immediately purchased 2 more for my kitchen bar area. I was mostly concerned with the height and description. It says "bar height", but only measures 25.6", which is technically counter height. I wanted a stool that had a counter height of around 25-27 inches with a back that wasn't too tall, and these worked out with the height almost perfectly. With one minor adjustment, they were perfect. I changed out the feet to a screw-in felt version so there was less of a chance they'd scratch the hardwood floors and it added about 1/2" to the height so the seat is right around 26" inches from the floor giving a great height to the counter for a person sitting there. The color of the stool fabric is excellent. It's a relaxing blue color. They didn't match my couch perfectly but they complemented the color nicely which was the goal as the living room and kitchen are next to each other. The swivel function is perfectly smooth and snug enough to not spin like a circus ride, but they do spin very easily while sitting in them. The backs are just the right height to sit proud of the countertop surface, but not high enough to block the view or be obtrusive. They are comfortable to sit in for any amount of time so far as I've used them....maybe 20-30 minutes at a stretch so far. Looking forward to getting more use out of them for eating at the counter or having conversations while cooking in the kitchen or chilling in the living room. The stools are very sturdy and don't feel tipsy at all. The fabric seems very sturdy and comfortable. We'll see how the durability is over time. The legs and back support are bent laminated plywood with a nice finish. they don't match the browns in my house perfectly, but again, they complement nicely. The foot rings are at a comfortable height and seem like they'd wear well, but we'll see over time. Assembly was very easy, less than 10 minutes per stool with the tools provided. The parts package even came with a few extra spare parts. Not something you normally see...typically there is something missing. They were packaged very well and arrived undamaged. I might end up buying a fourth one if I feel like another will fit in the width of my island bar area. Hope this helps if you're on the fence about these stools. ... show more

Took a chance on these and happy I did. After trying out dozens of barstools locally where most were almost painful to sit in, I decided to give these a try - just ordered a single to start. They are surprisingly comfortable! I might have wished for a slightly thicker seat cushion but I’m not expecting to spend hours sitting. The chair back supports your lower back really well (the backs are not tall, so they only reach mid back at the highest) and the foot rail is the perfect height for me (5’7”). The chairs were packaged well and assembly was easy. I’m not sure if it is listed anywhere but if your chair is unbalanced, the rubber feet can be twisted in/out to adjust. Relatively easy to assemble, looks pretty good and is comfortable. So far our favorite out of a few other similar stools we tried. There are leveling functions on the legs which is nice but they don't stay in place when you slide the stool so it gets wobbly and needs adjustments or we'd give it five stars.
