Picked up two of these to cover a couple rooms in the house. They plug right into the wall and start reading right away — no setup, no app, no nonsense. You’ve got three buttons: one to mute or turn on the sound, one to switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius (gives a quick beep), and one marked H that controls the display brightness — off, dim, or bright. There’s no test button and no battery backup, so if the power cuts out, these go dark too. The alarm isn’t as loud as a smoke detector, but it’s sharp enough to get your attention from another room. Temperature and humidity readouts run about five degrees off compared to my GOVEE sensors, but close enough for a quick glance. They look good on the wall — clean, simple, and not the kind of thing that sticks out. If you just need an easy plug-in CO detector for day-to-day peace of mind, these do the job fine. Just know they’re not meant for backup during an outage.

Purchased 2, 1 didn't work and they replaced it the next day. Great customer service. The device is straight to the point. Easy to use. I like the fact that it doesn't require batteries. All battery operated ones I've had in the past, start beeping once the battery is dying, you replace the battery, and that "function" never goes away. I'll never have to worry about that with this device. Will be purchasing more.

This review is for the plug in style CO detector, purchased in a 1 Pack. Initially, this detector worked well and looked good. It's very easy to read and get the info you need at a glance. Unfortunately, the detector died after less than 5 month and now will not power on at all. I've been unable to figure out how to contact the manufacturer and I can no longer return through Amazon. Buyer beware. Update: After submitting my review I was contacted by the seller with an offer to refund my purchase price, or receive a replacement detector free of charge. I chose to replace the detector and a new one was shipped out immediately and received within 2 days. U appreciate the seller standing behind their product. Hopefully the new detector has a longer lifespan.

Are you a responsible adult? Do you want to keep you and your family alive? This is for you! It looks so much better than the old school detectors, and I love the easy to read humidity and temperature readings on the screen. (Even tho it gives my teenager an extra reason to tell me that it’s too hot in the house.) We have never heard it “work”, and hope to never have a leak in the house. But, if we do, I have full faith that it would let me know. The test button reveals a surprisingly loud tone that would wake even the deepest sleeper out of their slumber. Just plug it in and go, easiest installation ever!
