Easy to assemble and light enough to move by myself once assembled. Seems to do the job. My new mattress was much thicker than the previous one and made the bed too high. This dropped it by 5 inches when it was put in place of the old box spring. Overall, well worth the price.

Dont buy! this is the worst boxspring ive ever had. bent and slipped out of place constantly and the slats make even a hybrid uncomfortable. just go to a mattress store and get a real boxspring. save your time.

Meh frame is ok but the cover is a joke. Basically a plastic sheet and it smelled god awful. Who knows what kind of Chinese chemicals are in that freakin thing. Also, it's just a metal box that you assemble yourself. If I had to do it again I’d buy a wood one from a furniture store. I’m sure all these for sale are same sheet. ... show more

Assembled easily looks great, disappointed, how noisy it is. We will try to Ziploc the areas that are squeaky and noisy. If we cannot fix it I do not recommend it for that reason.

I did not find this as hard to assemble as others have stated. I did take my time and made sure the the holes lined up before installing the screws. I noticed that you had to make sure the parts where fully inserted and at the correct angle. Since several reviewers noted that the frame would get noisy, after I finished assembly, I took each screw out and added some thread locker. 4 weeks in and the bed set up is silent. I added a bunkie board as the rails were a little far apart. One thing to remember, this is not a traditional box spring. It requires support underneath it or it will fail. Not just the standard rails, but also some cross bracing, with legs if elevated. ... show more
