I like pools of light that highlight specific areas and I bought these to use under my kitchen cabinets to avoid using overhead lights and electricity all the time. Great light, super easy to install and loved the effect and illumination. Just what I wanted! The battery life however is a drawback if you want to leave them on for long lengths of time . So I did purchase rechargeable batteries and a charger to use with these because of this. I left them on full time at night to test the battery life and they did last for a night or two then started to dim with the constant use. They were still giving the lower light for several more days - about a week - then not effective. So started thinking how I could use these more effectively and functionally throught the house instead of just for the "effect" . Linen closet! I have to turn on the hall light to see in this closet and have used a flashlight to find things! I have no wall surface inside the closet so I installed one strip vertically on the trim facing inside the door, stringing the light downward with the switch at the top. Be sure to face the lights towards the closet interior so you don't blind yourself when you turn them on! This worked GREAT! illuminating all 4 areas of the closet and the switch is not in the way. You only turn it on when you need to get something so it is not constantly on and the batteries will last a long time and have. It's portable and you can adjust it to your height and reach, no tools needed - just stick it on and then "click it"! 2nd area I installed was in the laundry room - under the cabinet over the washer and dryer. Gives me enough light to store or find things I keep in there, do laundry, whatever I need to do without having to use the electricity. I just "click it" when I go in there and "click it" again when I leave. Not on constantly so the batteries will last a long time and have. I bought a set for my sister and she took it a step further and installed her set "inside her lower kitchen cabinets"! What a wonderful idea! You can hardly see what's in these bottom shelves much less retrieve it! My lower kitchen cabinets are very dark & have those corners that you can't even get to (they needed the turn-table devices installed when built) so my lower kitchen cabinets are going to be illuminated too and very shortly! I thought about the products with motion detection but read that might tend to drain the batteries quicker (thanks to another reviewer!) since they would constantly be coming on/going off when the doors were opened for the cabinet or when walking into the room so decided against that feature and why it is not reviewed. This is a great product that has a lot more uses then kitchen cabinets. Anywhere you may have a dark nook, book shelves, workshop or area that just needs a light once in a while - these work great and no electricity is required, very portable and flexible to use. I even thought these would work in boats that have those areas under the hull and along the sides for storage. I personally really enjoy having these - for me just made life a little bit brighter in the right areas!

I bought these lights in the hopes of brightening up my hallway just a little. Even though there's a ceiling light fixture right at the front door of my apartment, the hallway itself always looks dark and dreary. I tried using wall sconces and adhesive motion sensing lights, but they just didn't emit enough light. Adding a higher wattage bulb in the ceiling light fixture just created one small area of harsh overhead light that didn't extend the length of the hallway. These took no time to set up and the difference they make is staggering! Plus they emit that kind of warm, soft light that feels natural. They make the transom look almost like glass instead of painted wood. I'm going to have to find some other use for the third one because two have already brightened the hallway far beyond my expectations. The flash on the camera made the hallway visible, but it was actually pitch black. Still you can see how much brighter & more welcoming the hallway is now.

First off, if you are looking for incredible, battery-powered strip accent lighting - just stop looking and get these! The other reviews are not wrong - I love everything about these stick-on lights. The packaging is very nice quality and the light sets (I purchased the 3-set bundle) arrive safely nestled in a hefty cardboard box with cut-out sponge packing to hold each component (think the quality of an Apple iPhone box). Everything is in its place and arrives unbroken. Talk about easy to 'install'. You literally pop in the included AA batteries, wipe down the surface you want to adhere the lights to, peel off the 3M tape (actual 3M, not a knock-off brand) and stick the lights where you want them. You can also trim the light strip if needed, but mine fit perfectly under a 3-foot cabinet. The on/off clicker is substantial and I like the feel of the button and that you actually hear the 'click'. I am not sure where these were manufactured, but they are super nice quality. The printed directions are also clear and have illustrations, not that you need them, but it is a nice touch. I am already looking around my house for more spots to install these light strips. I chose the bright white set and leave these on at night in my kitchen.

I really like these lights. They were easy to install and brightened up my kitchen space to provide better visibility underneath. However, the batteries included are junk. They were all corroded!! It was an okay average considering the batteries were bad.

Seems like a quality device and installed with no issues. The box and led strip both are backed with 3M tape, which I feel is very reliable. The light color has a slight yellow tinge, so I think 3000-3500 K is a more accurate color/temperature. I installed 4 of these under RV pantry shelves, so appreciated that you can press anywhere on the front half of the box to click the light on/off and it gave just the right amount of light. Why 3 stars? Each light comes with the 3 AA batteries needed (dated 08-26), however out of 7 sets, 2 sets of batteries were exploded on arrival. Other reviews shared similar experiences, so I planned to provide my own batteries if needed and ordered extra lights. Glad I did! They should lower the price and have customers supply their own batteries or use a better manufacturer or more reputable brand. I disposed of the Power Practical batteries and used my own (Rayovac). Why did I buy if they could have been over-priced with bad batteries? Good reviews on performance otherwise and I wanted a large button surface for when my hands are full or dirty from cooking/baking. Fun fact: This company was on Shark Tank and is part of Mark Cuban Companies.

I have purchased so many under shelf lights in the past and none of them were to my satisfaction. Came across this is my hunt for the perfect light for my bakers rack. The price was right so I figured I would give it a try. Well the hunt is over. This light is absolutely amazing! Easy to install...just remove the tape guard and stick it. And it’s flexible. But the best part is how bright this little strip is. It’s a brilliant white light. Illuminates the entire shelf. I only bought one to try it out and I just ordered one for the second shelf. This light strip can be used anywhere..closet..pantry....any dark spots! The battery pack/on off switch box is a bit bulky but the actually lighting tape is slim and unnoticeable until you turn it on. Best under shelf light out there!

For years, we used a couple puck-lights in our closets. They worked okay, but seeing items on the floor (like shoes) was tricky on dark mornings, and mounting them was always a tradeoff. I saw these reviewed on a forgotten site, and the design made a lot of sense. The price seems reasonable for their build quality, and they do run sales from time to time as well. Installation was very simple, and the light output is fantastic. I mounted the strip of leds along the top of the doorframe, around 7 feet high, and I can see all my shoes. Only two complaints, if you want to call them that: the switch does click, so light sleepers might not like it, but my wife hasn't complained about it, and the led strip exits the battery pack in just one orientation, so mounting can be a compromise. The strip is very flexible, and the adhesive is quite strong, so it's pretty easy to make it work, but it's something to be aware of.

I wanted a light to put underneath a wall shelf I have above the head of my bed so I could have some overhead light. Given the location, I wanted something without a cord that I could turn on and off easily. I love that with this, I could put the button switch within reach and have the light strip going across the underside of my shelf. The light is bright, perfect for what I needed. I got the warm light, I think it’s a good color temp but definitely isn’t too yellow. I haven’t had problems with the battery running out, but I typically don’t have it on longer than about an hour at a time. They may run out more quickly if you’re using them for extended periods of time. The first product I received actually didn’t work, even after trying different batteries. I emailed their customer service and received a response within the same day. I received a (working!) replacement a few days later. They were super easy to work with, no hassle, only asked for my order info and shipping address. The light is great, exactly what I expected, and given the amazing customer service I would definitely purchase again.
