Couldn't be more pleased! This walker turned out to be the PERFECT one for my mom. She's short at 4'11", past walkers were okay for the time, when she was stronger and more mobile, but she's 96yrs.old now, much weaker, and unable to maneuver as she once did. This walker is so much more suited to her size and height, and it fits through the bathroom door! She loves it and is more secure and stable. I'd recommend this walker 100% for anyone with a smaller stature, or has to maneuver in tight spaces.

Like its larger cousin, the Lumex RJ4301R Walkabout Lite Junior Rollator, Burgundy is not very pretty or modern, but it is strong and sturdy. The rollator is a walker on wheels. I measured 21 inches width which includes the bolts on the wheels. My bathroom doorway is 21 1/2 inches. After going on a cruise and traveling by plane, I realized that the cousin to the Junior Rollator was too awkward to repeatedly expand and contract. Even though the cousin rollator folds flat, it's very wide and thick. I needed something more compact. I ordered a different "euro" style rollator that folds compactly, but I still needed a rollator that would fit through a 21 1/2 inch bathroom doorway and a 22 inch Carnival Cruise balcony cabin doorway without collapsing the rollator every time I entered a doorway. Each cruise line publishes its accessible room measurements. On Carnival Cruise Line, standard doorways are 22 inches. In addition, I needed a rollator that would roll down an airplane hallway or help me get to a restroom. Sitting down would be a luxury. When I sit, I need space for 17.5 inches. The seat will fit my bottom, but the metal frame takes away precious space. With the Lumex RJ4301R Walkabout Lite Junior Rollator, Burgundy, I have to turn sideways and angle myself into the seat. I have large bones, so my hip bones cannot pass the metal frame to sit comfortably in the seat. The seat itself has plenty of space for my bottom, I simply cannot fit through the metal frame. Instead, I sit uncomfortably on the edge of the seat which takes the weight off my ankle but is quite uncomfortable. I have ordered a different Euro style rollator for daily use outside the home that is easier to fold up and down and takes up less cargo space than my current cheaper average size rollator. The Lumex RJ4301R Walkabout Lite Junior Rollator, Burgundy does exactly what I need it to do - give me back my independence to quickly get into the bathroom and out again. I am facing the possibility of a second surgery, so I know what's important in a walker and want to get the right walker for my situation. If a second surgery is required, I can place my knee into the walker seat and use the walker as a temporary knee bike (which I also purchased on Amazon.) The handlebar grips are too short for a 5'8, 190-pound person to use long term. I may follow another reviewer's tip and drill holes to lengthen the height of the rollator handlebars. I would have preferred that the metal basket was made from fabric to make transport easier. The metal basket is quite sturdy. The overall construction is strong and sturdy - built to last. This is a good walker for petite people. Tall people can modify this walker. Hips wider than 16 inches cannot fit through the frame to sit comfortably. This rollator should fit through 22-inch doorways and cruise ship doorways. I was not paid for this review. I hope you found it useful.

I love this walker it stores my oxygen in the compartment under neath as nd it rolls so nice highly reccomend it is a little larger seat which I like.

I bought this for my wife, 115lb and 5’4”, as she needed a more compact and lighter rollator for travel, as well as for day-to-day use downstairs than the more conventional heavyweight rollator she has upstairs. Pros - Light and compact, so easily fits through narrow spaces. - Easy to fold after unhooking the basket. - Comfortable and effective hand brakes: pull up for stopping, push down for locking. - Appears to be well made. - Although the product description puts my wife at the upper height limit, I think it would certainly do for taller people with or without drilling extra holes as mentioned by another reviewer. There is more than enough length to the brake cables. Cons - Almost too narrow for my wife! The seat is 12” wide, while the seating width is about 13.5” – that is the distance between the hinge brackets which allow the unit to fold. Note that hinge pivot bolt heads also reduce that width by a tad. We thought about returning it, but then I rounded off the hinge lower edges which made all the difference; it is now much more comfortable when used as a seat when she sits with her butt well back. - The wire basket seems a little strange – surely a plastic bag that would fold with the chair, as is more typical, would have been no more costly? As it is, the basket needs to be lifted out (easy) before folding. We probably won’t be using the basket. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase after our initial reservations. Be mindful of the available seating width relative to user hip or thigh width. Easily Four Stars!

This walker is perfect for a smaller person. (My mother is 4’10”) It is slimmer in width and fits easier in the door way. It rolls easily and is lightweight.

Beware of seller. Paid $115 for a Lumex Rollator walker. Had to return because it was a junior size and not big enough. Seller does not help with return postage. Seller requires you use a return service with tracking ability. Cost $90 to return the undersized rollator. Seller refunded me $100 when they received the rollator. So basically I’ve spent $105 and have zip to show for it.

After 6 months, still in good shape despite being used daily as aa walker and a transport for my wife. She is 4ft 10 in. and 103 lbs. Her only complaint is the seat cushion is not thicker. I push her around at the stores and she scoots herself around the house on it. No problems with the wheels. Anyone larger than she is will not fit on it. It will not fit most adults. But for those who will fit, it is ideal.
