  • Outstanding Sturdiness and a Comfort for those with foot surgery.
Flavor: Black
When faced with the daunting challenge of recovering from major foot surgery, I discovered a beacon of hope and mobility in the Vive Mobility All Terrain Knee Scooter Walker. This remarkable device is not merely a tool for getting around; it is a lifeline that restored my independence and significantly improved my quality of life during a critical period of healing. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a clear understanding of the needs of those recovering from foot, ankle, or lower leg injuries, the Vive Mobility Knee Scooter is a testament to innovative design and engineering. Its robust build quality immediately instills confidence, ensuring users that they are supported by a device that can withstand the rigors of daily use, while also being gentle on recovering bodies. The scooter's standout feature, its 12-inch pneumatic wheels, offers unparalleled stability across a myriad of terrains. Whether navigating the soft carpet of my living room, the uneven gravel paths of local parks, or the bustling sidewalks of the city, the scooter glided with an ease that made mobility feel almost effortless. This ease is further enhanced by the scooter's dual rear-disk brake system, which provides exceptional control and safety, even on gentle inclines or uneven surfaces. Another aspect of the scooter that deserves high praise is the contoured knee pad. Designed with the user's comfort in mind, the foam cushion cradles the lower leg, distributing pressure evenly to alleviate pain and reduce fatigue in the hip, knee, and leg. This thoughtful design made each journey on the scooter not just possible, but comfortable. The Vive Mobility Knee Scooter is also remarkably user-friendly in terms of adjustability and storage. The height-adjustable cushioned knee platform and steering handle ensure a perfect fit for users of various heights, enhancing comfort and control. Moreover, the convenience of the removable knee platform and folding steering handle cannot be overstated, making storage and transport a breeze. Perhaps what sets this scooter apart the most is the included storage bag, a simple yet incredibly useful addition. It allowed me to carry my essentials securely, adding a layer of practicality and independence that traditional crutches could never offer. In conclusion, the Vive Mobility All Terrain Knee Scooter Walker is not just a mobility aid; it is a game-changer for anyone recovering from foot, ankle, or lower leg surgery. Sturdy, comfortable, and highly maneuverable, it stands as a testament to the fact that with the right support, recovery can be a journey of empowerment and independence. It was worth every penny, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone facing a similar journey to recovery. ... show more

  • Great tires
Flavor: Pink
I absolutely love this scooter. Had bunion surgery and this was a lifesaver. I purchased a different scooter first and it left permanent marks on my laminate floors. It is very sturdy and has a generous sized basket bag attached that can be easily removed. CON: the only thing is the knee pad area is NOT soft. I bought a cover for it and this fixed the problem. I would definitely purchase again ! ... show more

  • GREAT FEATURES = 4 stars but...not for me, I’m 5’7”, and this SCOOTER IS GREAT OR TALL PERSONS
Flavor: Black
After trying out three other knee scooters, I need an affordable sturdy long frame, foldable for transport, travel and storage, wide and large all terrain wheels, dual breaks, handle bar/steering column that ups only to a 45 degree angle (anything sharper and the scooter will tilt, dangerous!), and comfort padded seat that has 2 molded contours for scooting, then use as a supporting leg rest when seated. This has all those features. And, it comes with the pegs to hold a basket (doesn’t come with but you can get one from Amazon, and I LOVE my basket) this model comes with a really handy bag that attaches to the scooter or take is off for a Cross body bag. My issue: I am 5’7”. It’s far TOO HIGH for me. It jars my leg up to my hip. Jars my back! It’s on he lows peg for the seat too. And, the breaks are so stiff it takes two hands to lock them into place! Not quick and safe. (In fairness, I haven’t tried to grease them). It takes practice to fold up, so look for the videos on YouTube, or it gets to be hard, I cannot kneel down to fiddle with it. Take a 6” strap to bind the folded handle bar to the frame when folded up. It travels well folded up. If it fit me...I’d Give it a higher rating. IF YOU ARE 5’9” or taller, this I the scooter for you. ... show more

  • Double Ankle Fracture - This is the ONE you want!
Flavor: Black
I never write reviews but this has been a LIFESAVER!!! I (female, 5’5”/late 50’s) broke my ankle in 2 places mid-May and have been non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. I purchased a different scooter for ~$159 from Amazon (5/20) and it was great until a plastic piece on one of the wheels broke in week 4! I got nervous about it fully breaking and losing all the recovery ground I’d made. Amazon ok’d me to return the other one (!) and purchased THIS much better scooter!! I was desperate to get this new scooter asap and was able to text the company to request expedited shipping and they said 2-4 days was included in the price. For my order I got it in TWO DAYS!! The nubby tires are much more stable going over driveway gravel, rocks, sidewalk bumps, and inside floor thresholds (old house) etc. These tires are also squishier so the ride is MUCH smoother and I thought the curved knee pad might be bothersome but you can adjust your knee easily even with a cast that comes right up to your knee. The better construction of this scooter is worth the extra money and piece of mind! While I liked the disc brake action on the other scooter better vs this one, there are two mental pieces that grab the tires, which works just fine going up/down slight grades. The construction of this is perfect for large men too because the knee part and handles can go much higher. Because I am 5’5”, I might ask my husband to adapt the lowest knee setting maybe an inch lower, but after three days on it I am getting better - it’s just as easy to bend a bit to zip along (really minor point, but good note for women). It’s rugged and solid - - which I need for living on a farm with a gravel driveway and uneven grass. It’s also great across bumpy and asphalt parking lots if your husband takes you to lunch! There’s a simple lever to flip to have the handle bars bend down to go into a car trunk. And, the carrying bag is a great size - fits everything for a run to Walmart, etc. I was optimistic about my getting my cast off and put a pair of sneakers in the bag (not needed because I got a walking cast). The freedom the scooter gives you really helps your mental and keeps the muscles working. Remain positive - you will get through this recovery phase!!! ... show more
