I got this for after heel surgery. I figured I would mostly use it here and there and rely on my crutches. Boy was I wrong. I’m so unstable on my crutches I fell 3 times just trying to get into the house! I have been on the knee scooter ever since. Makes everything so much easier. I do recommend getting one that has a bag in front as it makes moving things around a lot easier. The knee pad itself is ok, I appreciate what it does having designed divots in it helps stabilize your knee but it does make it all a bit harder. The brakes are super responsive and sturdy. As an almost 300 pound person, I was concerned about falling off other knee scooters. Not even a concern with this. Relatively easy to assemble. Definitely practice before major use though. Takes a few tries to get comfortable with it. I got the all terrain beefier tires as I live on dirty road and it January and quite snowy. It handles rough terrain pretty well. Being bone weight bearing right now and having some pretty big tire indentations from the cars mixed with ice I was glad my husband was there to help. The turning radius it pretty good. I do have some spots where I have to drag it or work do 7 point turns. But my house is small and tight so honestly it does a great job. Never felt like I was going to fall of it. It’s larger than I thought I was hoping it could fit in a stair as I have 2 I have to get up or down to get out and in the house sadly it’s to large for this. But I do sturdy that I feel this is a good compromise. Definitely feel better using it without the worry of falling off. The handlebars fold down which made it fit in my husbands small suv well, probably would fit in a compact car. Won’t fit in a smart car (moms car). I would recommend practicing this once or twice especially if you have an inpatient husband like mine :)

I am a stocky 205 pound man, and I am very happy with the product. It is beefy enough for me to roll around the gravel with a little effort. Overall pleased with the ease of setup, and quality. It is a bit unstable on the slightest of side hill use, but that is the trade-off with it being narrow enough to get through a doorway. Overall pleased with the sturdyness and ease of folding.

I broke my ankle and found I needed something other than crutches. So I began looking at scooters. This one really caught my eye for multiple reasons. One is its weight capacity. I weigh around 280lbs and wanted a high weight capacity scooter. I also noticed several comments about the scooter being too tall. Well, that was music to my ears, as I’m 6’6” tall. When the scooter arrived, I was very pleased with how easy it was to assemble. No tools needed. The handlebars and seat height were easy to adjust. I like the large, pneumatic tires. They allow it to easily roll over gravel or other debris that might cause smaller, hard plastic wheels to suddenly stop and cause a fall. The tires came fully inflated. I’ve used it several days and have noticed no need to add any air. I have found that it takes a lot of room to make turns. I suspect that if the front wheels were allowed to turn any sharper it would affect the scooter’s stability. Speaking of stability, I find this scooter to be very stable which adds to the safety factor. The knee pad is just okay as comfort goes. I did purchase the optional pad cushion, which for me was really needed. I deducted one star because this. I do like the choice of colors. I chose the blue option, as I thought it looked best. Overall, especially if you’re tall and heavy, this is the scooter to get.

Very sturdy. I had a no load bearing injury and used this at max weight capacity+ for 3 months straight and it held up very well. Easy to assemble and fold for transport. The bag was also very useful. Was mostly used over concrete and carpet and was able to move with ease. I lost some of the hubcaps and valve stem covers, but those were mostly just for asthetics so no big deal. Towards the end of use i did find myself filling the tires maybe once every 2 weeks, but remember, i was using it at capacity. The price made it worthwhile since i would have paid the same for a rental. Im 5’8” and felt it may have been a little high at first, but I had gotten used to it. I do wish that maybe the seat angle could have been adjustable instead of fixed. I also bought the gel cushion, but it made it more slippery and uncomfortable for me.

If you are looking for a knee scooter that will go over cracks in the side walk with ease, go over small rocks and through grass without the worry of the scooter stopping abruptly and flipping over the handle bars? Then this is the knee scooter you. I have a gravel sidewalk and driveway and this scooter goes over the rocks with no issue. The tires are so nice and the seat is comfortable. I'm 6'6" 260lbs and this scooter works perfectly getting around with no issues. So, if you're wanting to go down the sidewalk or take a hike on a mulch path trail in the woods, I promise you that your search is over. I spent many hours looking for a better scooter than the one I had bought from the rental company and this scooter surpassed all my expectations.

I’m 5’5 and it is too tall for me, but I figured out how to make it fit. It also has a horrible turn radius. If you are needing to negotiate it in the kitchen be prepared for a 3 to 6 point reverse. I still gave it 3 stars because it seems very sturdy, and contrary to other reviews, seems unlikely to fall over. I’m hoping once I can be a little weight bearing it might be helpful to get from one end of the house to another and then I can just hop off.

I live in a duplex with 3 floors. I broke my leg. I live on my own. This is all important to the review. If you have to, skip to PRODUCT REVIEW below. A friend is loaning me a knee scooter from another company. I've been using it on the 2nd floor, that's where most of the 'stuff' is (my computer room, including where I've been working from home, the kitchen, one of the bathrooms, the back door where I've asked all deliveries go to). It has worked wonderfully. I've gone from the point where the bone has to fuse together to the point where I have to go to physical therapy (PT). For the 2 followup appointments, I could get rides. I have crutches. I hate crutches. I'm not confident on them. The one time my friend brought the knee scooter downstairs to use, was the best day of my post-leg-break day life. PT means 2-3 appointments per week, which would be a hardship on my friends (or maybe not, I just don't want to put them in that position either way). I decided to buy a scooter for the first floor. I wanted one that would fold up easily, so I could get from the car to the PT place unaided, and back. I hate crutches, but I could use them from the car to the house. I've been using the scooter for over a week now, as of 27/September/2018. PRODUCT REVIEW: I had asked what tools were required for assembly prior to buying this scooter. I got no answer. ASSEMBLY: No tools are required. You just need a lot of floor space to open everything up to get it together. Assembly was very easy. The instructions are super confusing about the lever that locks the folding handlebars in, so I have been screwing the handle to tighten til I can barely swivel it to the top of its niche, and then locking it down. When I want to fold, I unscrew til it can point forward, and use the handle to yank the entire assembly to the side that unlocks. STURDINESS: All of the reviews I've read so far talk about how sturdy this scooter is. When I bought it, there was 1 review that mentioned making turns needed care. I will say the overall unit seems sturdily built (less than 2 weeks after initial use). I broke my left leg, so my left knee rests on the knee pad. Making left turns is a very nervous affair. Going straight is perfect, even over concrete lines. Even over depressed cracks in the pavement. The tires have enough give out-of-the-box to forgive lines and cracks without shifting the steering (the scooter I am borrowing can't say that. I went down a plank ramp and it was like a fight to the finish). Even on right turns, which felt more stable to me, I felt a level of wobbliness that kept me being careful. BRAKES: The brake mechanism...Imagine a piece of metal in this shape: _|--|_. Those legs on the bottom dig directly into the tires from the top. Both handles just make it dig into the tire at different severity, so if you use both, they both dig into the tire. This means that if "The brake needs to be replaced", what it really means is that the tire needs to be replaced because the brakes dig directly into the tire. Also, at first, the scooter makes a sound from the beginning as it's rubbing away the rubber from its first use. I've used it about a half dozen times now. The sound isn't as loud as it was, which is a relief, until you realize that that means that the metal L's have worn away enough rubber to make that noise quieter. SHOULDER BAG: It works, I'll give it that. But you have a leatheresque patch across the back, and have to slide it down 2 locking pins on the steering column. The bag doesn't like that. Possibly, with continued installing/ removing use it will relax more, but so far it's still angry. Plus, every time I pull it out of the car, I have to re-hook the bag on to the scooter. The bag itself has been very sturdy so far, I've put in some serious groceries (and paid for them) without the bag breaking free and falling to the floor...so far. Overall, the scooter gets 3/5 stars.

The product is ok. But it has one very big issue! The mechanism to raise and lower the handle is very hard to use . Plug after not to long the whole mechanism screws, washer, spring , nut and all flew out of the scooter. I had no way to put down the handle I was stranded at my drs. My mom had to figure out how to get her seat down let alone trying to get it in her suv was very hard. I had this same problem with another scooter I had it’s the same mechanism to put down the handle as my old one and the same thing happened except it flung out all the parts from the vibration of her SUV while she was taking my some where. Now I don’t have any idea what to do because I have places I have to go and no knee scooter to help me out. I got this one because it’s all terrain. I paid more too. So now I’m stuck.
