I am very please with this purchase. It is small and compact. It is very simple to assemble and use. I haven't tested it out on credit cards or CDs but I would cut them up by hand anyway. I like that it is on casters so I can more it out of the way when not using it and roll it out when I need it. I love the window that shows how full the bucket is and I really like how you can remove the bucket to empty it would removing the top. This is an IMPORTANT feature. I had to remove the top on my old one and it was a little dangerous cause they are very have. So this is a GREAT little paper-cutter! Love it. ... show more

Mine just arrived today and I put it to work immediately. This thing hasn’t jammed once and I’ve fed it many pages together. I’ve shredded a couple of credit card bills together, both 2-3 (folded) page bills with return envelopes + the envelopes they arrived in so that’s like 16 pages at once. The shredded paper fills very fast but that’s because it works so fast 🏁 The top shredder piece is very heavy but that’s a small price to pay for an awesome piece of equipment 😎 ... show more

The shredder is very quiet which is in contrast to my previous shredder. As other have mentioned, the on-off switch seems a bit flimsy but only time will tell how well it lasts.
