I bought this for my wife to help her get to high reach areas around the house a bit easier. I researched bunches of step ladders and decided on this one. It has been wonderful for her as well as for me. It is very light weight, very well built, very sturdy ( my wife weighs @ 125lbs and I weigh 175 lbs ). When folded it is very compact and stores easily between our wall in the kitchen and a sitting bench. I also like the height this step stool offers. It allows for a bit more height with three steps vs two, and we both feel very secure on the third step ( she is 63 years old and I am 65 years old ). So, I highly recommend this step stool, it is a great product at a great price.

When you asked for light weight and sturdy it’s kind of ridicules, plus reasonable price. But this 3-steps ladder really is light weight, sturdy, reasonable price, and on top of that is it folds closely to one flat piece. I store next to refrigerator so it has to be flat to fit in that limited space I have. I love it. Highly recommended! Especially if you can’t lift anything heavy, this one is definitely designed for you and me.
