I have only used this for ice fishing. The measurements for water depth are accurate and match pricier flashers that are typically used. I did use the extra holder for ice fishing and let the receiver sit at the bottom of the ice hole. You do have to play with the sensitivity to mark fish properly. I can't wait to try it out in the summer off the dock or the side of my canoe to see how well it works.

Fast shipping - Arrived prior to expected date and parcel arrived damage free. I bought it as a gift for my nephew and he loves it. It is easy to use and is small enough for him to keep in his fishing vest when not in use. Have not tried the ice fishing sonar attachment yet but he's excited to do so.

The problems are minor but irritating. The neck holding collar does not fit into the hand held instrument. The instructions don't provide information about the holder for ice fishing and the screws provided don't seem to fit the holder.

Seems pretty good. Didn’t like what seems like scam for a case from the seller. Shipping was a lot I guess prime didn’t count? Will test it out review for real.

Works well! Have only used it for ice fishing so far - works well. Wish it gave depth in feet though. Overall, it is great for the price!
