This is the best fish finder in this price range, the features and image quality is excellent! They are not exaggerating on the ad photo's it really does look like that. I think Humminbird makes the best fish finders, it's feature rich and very intuitive and easy to use. I'm still learning to use all the different modes but mega side and down imaging is unbelievable! It paints a clear and accurate picture of what it looks like down there. This is a much more affordable alternative to live scope. Not Johnson Outdoors fault, but I'm a little disappointed that this one won't connect to my Ipilot Minn Kota, but they do make a model that does that, its just more expensive. I was at Caples Lake in California on the first run with this and lost GPS so the charting was not great but everything else was amazing. I realize Caples is not great for reception but my phone had no problem getting my fishing apps so......... The only reason I posted a four star is because of the GPS reception. Everything else is 5 star. That said............everything else about this product is amazing. Easy to use. Ran it on a Nocque 20ah battery for 6 hours and the battery was showing 100% at the end of the day. I spent a few days running simulation and got use to the buttons and it was a breeze out on the lake. I will definitely stay with the Humminbird brand. ... show more

Great unit. Easy enough to install. The maps are much cheaper than GARMIN (theirs are $250). These maps can be $65 or so on eBay. Great side scanning. Split screen options.

Hook up power cord to make sure unit is working properly I bought one for my boat and I like it so I bought one for my brothers boat because his was out dated Looked brand new and started to help install it He said it’s not powering up and didn’t think we should replace the old one so we returned it and went with a Lowrance with similar features I’m thinking about replacing the one I bought as well ... show more
