Fast delivery and easy install. Worked way thru screens in system, seems straight forward enough. Documentation is lacking but several videos on youtube to educate you on the abundance of features and how to access them. Be aware if ordered without maps it is an X series and has limitations.

Pleased with this fishfinder
Style: 5 Splitshot, C-map US Inland Maps
Pattern Name: Fish Finders
I had my eye on this type of fish finder/ GPS plotter for quite a while. I bought the 5 inch display with the preloaded inland maps and installed it on a 2004 Bass Tracker Pro Crappie 175. The Good: - Worked right out of the box with all functionality as advertised. - Pulled up the maps of the two ma
jor reservoirs I fish without any prompting or setting. - Sonar image of bottom structure is a bonus. - Shows the course you have traveled on the map screen. - Maps show lake features, navigation aids, shoreline and depth. Would be an advantage when fishing a new lake. - Not too difficult to learn basics of electronics settings and options, but does take a little study. The Bad: -Routing the transducer cable thru the boat's wiring channel so it would be hidden was a pain. Be sure and have an electrician's fish tape on hand. - The 5 inch screen is really too small, especially if you're and older guy. If I fished more often, I would definitely go with a larger screen. - Be sure you've got enough space to mount it. Mine was a little tight in the location where the old finder was located, but it worked out OK. - I didn't catch any more fish than usual :-)

High quality, easy install (Update - STOPPED WORKING! UPDATE#2 - WORKING AGAIN!)
Style: 5x Splitshot, Gps Plotter Only, No Maps
Pattern Name: Fish Finders
So far this unit works great, there is a bit of a learning curve but nothing too difficult if you've used fish finders before. GPS plotter is basically worthless and was disappointed at how it works but I honestly didn't buy it for that anyways. Downscan, Sidescan, Sonar all work wonderfully, wish pr
ice would of been slightly lower but overall I am very pleased with this purchase. EDIT: 7/26/20 - Took the boat out today to do some mapping on a new pond/lake and it's only showing a white screen with watertemp and speed but no sonar, downscan, etc. Says "Stopped" and can't connect to transducer. I'm unable to locate any information on how to fix this not sure what to do. Downgrading my rating to a 1 as this is too soon to be running into an issue with a $400 unit. Will update if I find a solution and will change rating as well. Edit: 9/13/20: I fixed it! Its back to its working condition and it was a stupid easy fix too. In the menu there's a "Stop Sonar" button, why it was ever turned off I have no idea, im the only one using and know that I never turned this off cause I never knew it even existed. But like I said easy fix. I would like to mention its been over 6 weeks since I contacted Lowrance and have had no response from them.
