Features

  • Low Degradation & Longer-Lasting UVB Radiation - LUCKY HERP 23W UVB 5.0 reptile light bulb is continuously updated with technology to ensure low degradation of UVB radiation, providing long-lasting and stable UVB output. This continuous and stable UVB radiation is crucial for the health of reptile pets. Our UVB light bulb can provide your pet with longer-lasting UVB exposure, with a UVB lifespan of up to 1 year, reducing the need for frequent bulb replacements.
  • Simulate Natural Sunlight Environment - The UVA UVB reptile light bulb can simulate the sunlight environments in tropical and subtropical regions, providing 5% UVB and 30% UVA output. UVB helps reptile pets synthesize vitamin D3, promotes calcium absorption, and supports bone and metabolic health. UVA light not only enhances reptiles' appetite, digestion, and reproduction but also stimulates natural activities such as foraging, mating, and exploring.
  • High Brightness & High Color Rendering Index - Our UVB bulb is constantly improved to be brighter than ordinary reptile lamps, providing a bright and natural lighting environment for your reptiles. With a color rendering index as high as 90%, it is closer to the sun spectrum, realistically restoring the natural colors of reptiles. This means your pet's colors will appear more vivid and lifelike under the light, allowing you to better observe their natural beauty and enhance their visual comfort.
  • Wide Applications - This UVB 5.0 light bulb is suitable for all tropical and subtropical reptiles such as chameleons, turtles, lizards, geckos, frogs, tortoises, snakes, and other tropical and subtropical reptiles and amphibians. It is compatible with various standard E26 lamp bases, 120V, making installation and replacement convenient. We recommend replacing the bulb every 6 to 12 months to ensure continuous effective UVB output.
  • Excellent After-Sales Service - LUCKY HERP is committed to providing every reptile enthusiast with the best customer experience. We offer 30 days quality service guarantee and unconditional refunds for damaged bulbs. If you have any questions, you can contact LUCKY HERP customer service at any time, and we will reply within 24 hours and assist you. Our light bulb is the ideal choice for providing high-quality reptile lighting.

  • The money you save is in the product you use.
Style: UVB10.0 23W
I normally buy these particular UVB lights from Serpentarium, which are very expensive, yet there is not a guarantee that they will last three months, though it did. There really is not much of a difference between a Serpentarium Lugarti bulb and this one upon comparison that I can observe. I think that the UVB bulb would last longer if it was in a single light fixture as opposed to a dual light fixture that can burn out the UVB faster with heat generated nearby in a ceramic or heat light. ... show more

  • Going good for 2 months now
Style: UVB10.0 23W
Update (couple/few monts later) - About a month after writing this original review, the light stopped coming on with my timer. I have other light sources as mentioned so I didn't prioritize replacing the bulb. Lo and behold a couple weeks later it just magically started working again and has been now for well over a month. Go figure. Maybe bulb is sentient and demands vacation? Lol Added this to my new 4x2x2 bioactive setup for my ball python. Many people say BPs don't need UVB, and the ones that do often spend a lot on t5 style tubes. Since I already have a basking lamp as well as LED grow lights for the plants, I went with this CFL style of UVB light to both save money and have a smaller footprint to work with. It's been going strong for a couple months now. Hopefully it lasts ... show more

Perfect for my whites tree frog. Doesn’t get hot so I don’t have to worry about too much heat exposure with my ceramic bulb! Light it bright recommend getting a dual dome if you don’t have one already!
