This bed is a lot firmer than we're used to, but it only took a few nights to get used to it. We slept on one at a friend's house and had a good night's sleep, so when I got home, I put this in my Amazon Cart. Fast forward 2 or 3 years later, and when it was time for a new mattress, I made the purchase. Arrived quickly, and was easy to unpackage and place on my existing box springs. I was a little restless the first night because I was simply not used to the firmness. The second night was much better. It seems like every night after that has gotten better. I feel like it is much better for my neck and back than our old mattress (which was a high-end name brand but 12-15 years old). For a while now, I have been feeling pretty crummy every morning upon waking. I must say, I don't really have that feeling anymore, and feel much better in the morning. I feel like I'm getting much better rest at night with less tossing and turning. It's firm, but it's still comfortable and soft on the pressure areas. I would highly recommend this mattress, and I hope they continue to make it because I would like to buy another when this one gets old. ... show more

I’m a big man, built like a WWF wrestler. Imagine The Rock with a dad bod gut. I’m a stomach and side sleeper. I’ve been on this mattress for a month now. I got the plush 14’ king size thinking it would be on super soft cloud mode. Plush is a softer medium, softer top but rightfully firm in the middle. There is no bounce to it when you slap it or elbow drop the bed. It absorbs energy, so if your sleeping next to someone you can jump out the bed harder than a Barbarian late for a raid and will not disturb the person next to you. I had 2 different spring mattress for the last 20 years and both of them every so often had my lower back HURTING and hamstrings sore when I woke up. This eliminates that issue completely. The bed conforms to your entire body. No pressure points, keeps your back straight, side straight, and it creates a nice pot hole for your gut if your sleeping on your stomach. Pretty sweet. I used to wake up often to toss and turn and to roll over. This is the first bed for the first time in 20 years I wake up in the same position I feel asleep in for an entire 7-8 hours. No aches, no soreness, no pains and I wake up feeling “aligned”. I get out the bed do alittle basic morning stretch and feel great. I’ve beat my body up from physically working too hard and old exercising injures, this is a well worth it mattress for a big man who needs real support. Now the bed does get softer over time the more you sleep on it I guess it has a long break in period, that’s the only reason I knocked a star off. So if you have back any problems, ham string tightness, feel crooked in other mattresses , in need of a supportive bed, or a big man like me who needs to be cuddled by the mattress, get this. If this was the 3 bears this ain’t mama bears bed in terms of softness, definitely no where near papas, but certainly just right. One year update: oh yeah it’s broken in, takes 6 months before you have to rotate your bed. Now this whole bed is broken in and is more comfortable than ever. It definitely is plush but it takes time. I can see this mattress lasting 10 years easy. ... show more

Mattress is very comfortable but is still off gassing 2 months later. Maybe I am sensitive to the smell but it’s pretty strong. We ordered these mattresses (3 of them) for an Airbnb there was no smell but this one has a chemical smell.

This has me sleeping better than I have in many many years. Firm yet flexible. Be sure to have 2 people for set up and when you cut the mates out if the protective bag have it in place. It rises faster than you think. 5 stars

To start: I have fibromyalgia so I tend to have pressure pains with certain mattresses. I went through 4 mattress before I found this one. My original mattress bottomed out after about a year. I would sink and my back would scream at me while sleeping and I would wake up in terrible pain. Finally got rid of it and ordered something "medium firm" which was way too firm. Ended up giving me a fibro flare and went sleepless for two nights. So then I ordered an Amazon basic memory foam mattress. I could tell right away was bottoming out. So then I ordered this Lucid mattress in medium. Still a tad too firm for my body. That said, it seemed like a pretty great mattress with good support. So I decided to try again but in medium plush. Finally!!! This mattress provides a lot of relief to my pressure points and joints. My back loves it too. The sides push down pretty easily but I'll put up with that for a good night's sleep. I probably spent a month trying mattresses and sleeping on my couch. I'm so happy to be able to get good rest again. I will say that it didn't rise to 14". More like 12. But again, I'm willing to deal with that. ... show more

For the money a very nice mattress. We use it in guest room, but it is as comfortable as our main king twin that we paid 5 times more for. Cannot rate longevity as it's in guestroom.

I only added a star because I needed to. However I am disgusted with this product. This mattress was referred to me by family. I purchased in 2021. The mattress was so plush and full in the beginning and I loved it. As the years went on it started to dip which I thought nothing of us cuz of course its a mattress. Well this year the mattress started to really deteriorate and the corners were dipping and the sagging became terrible. So what do I do ? I don't complain I get a padded mattress cover in April 2025 in order to cover all the imperfections well GUESS WHAT it DID NOT help. So I reach out to the manufacturer and what do they tell me? They cant replace the mattress because I HAVE A NEW COVER ON IT. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! I tried to work around the issues and not be THAT CUSTOMER and I get dismissed ? I just need the mattress replaced under your 10 year warranty but NOPE. So I became a customer through referral. I purchase in good faith. Tried to work around the mattress imperfections before filing a claim and your telling me YOUR NOT going to stand behind your warranty? Thats some BS. You want my advise ? GO TO BOBS or another valued mattress store. More expensive but guess what they replace the mattress every time you have such issues. IDK why I even gave this mattress a chance. ... show more
