I am using this for a battery charging box for my 4 lithium ion batteries. I keep it outside on crushed stone and nowhere near any thing that can burn. It has been out in the rain and contents stay completely dry. I feel better knowing it's not in my garage or house. It's connected to a circuit breaking power strip and a GFI outlet. I know that aluminum can't totally contain a lion battery fire but it can control it somewhat and it allows me to charge batteries outside. ... show more

Based on price, I knew it was too good to be true, but I ordered one anyway. The TRUE dimensions of the box are 37.5" x 12.5" x 9.5" tall. The big thing for me is the fact that in the description, it is made from 12ga aluminium, while in reality, it is made from 18ga. This is a huge difference for anyone who knows metal. I'll use it until it fails(which I assume will be soon), then I will buy a real one as I should have done in the first place. ... show more
