I have owned a few Husqvarna Automowers, and recently I just got tired of fixing the ground wire. Back when I bought mine, the market was basically just Automower, but now it’s full of options. I watched just about every robot lawn mower video I could find. I looked at every option out there that would fit my use case. For context, my yard is under .25 acres, and it’s a complex setup with lots of small areas that need to be mowed. Many of the review videos I watched had the Mammotion mower in them, but it was rarely ranked number one—usually number two or three. What I realized, though, was that many reviewers picked a mower that worked better for their yard, not necessarily the best all-around. Rightfully so—some mowers are designed to mow a lot more land, and for a small yard, that’s overkill. But on the flip side, a smaller mower in a big yard is a joke, and some reviews pointed this out. That’s just one example, but there are lots of little cases like that. So why did I decide to pick this mower? #1. Yard Size Fit Mammotion has bigger mowers, but this one fit my yard perfectly. #2. No Ground Wire (RTK + Vision) It uses RTK and vision instead of a buried wire, which was a big deal for me. Some reviews mentioned potential RTK issues, but my deployment was simple, and I’ve had no problems—even with the house and trees nearby. The key was planning: I made sure to mount the RTK high and not covered by any trees. #3. Control Features The mower lets me set mowing heights, zones, and scheduling exactly how I want. #4. Connectivity This mower has 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. That’s awesome and gives me max flexibility. I don’t care that 4G is extra—it’s not expensive, and I get to choose if I want to pay for it. #5. Off-Road Capability My Automower used to get stuck all the time—it was always a thing. This mower is AWD, and that helps a ton. Whether it’s a hill or uneven terrain, it’s nice not having to go rescue my mower. #6. Price Reviews mentioned this, but the price was right for my yard size. Not the cheapest, but also not Automower pricing, which is really $1,500 more than most other mowers. So does this mower deliver? IT DOES. For my size yard and its complexity, it does everything I could want. Setup was easy—no wire to bury—and I can build tons of zones to mow exactly how I want. It navigates easily, no GPS or connection issues, and it actually mows in a pattern. Connectivity is great too; I can check on it anytime, anywhere. Now, as far as warranty goes—we’ll see. But as of right now, I would buy this mower again. It was a simple setup, and it meets or exceeds what I expected at a price that’s very fair.

I have this and it's bigger brother the 3000 model. It works and works well. I had a rider mower for years, but now no more fretting about storing gas, no more runs to the gas station for more, no more hot summer days trying to get a quick mow in between work and weekend plans. Just tell it what to cut and it will cut it nicely. Pro: Super easy set up. Plug in the camera, set up the charging station, and tie it down with ground screws provided. App connects with ease and there's no GPS tower needed with a change to your network setting. It handles inclines with ease going up about an 80 degree slop in a ditch I have. The blades are little razor blades that cut tall grass no problem and are durable (it ran over a brick enclosed flower pot I have and still no issue). Blades are cheap to replace. You can get about 30 for $30 here, but I've not had to replace them yet. If a stick gets stuck on it, it does this little zigzag to pull it off - I've not had a stick stay on it for more than a few minutes while it does this. GPS is accurate and no grass is missed. It cuts and it cuts well. The FPV mode is super fun to watch on an iPad, and once you're setup, just tell it what to mow and it will get it done quite nicely! While I note a lot of cons below, I really do enjoy this little robotic mower. Cons: Biggest con is .37 Acre means that's your maximum square footage you can map for it to mow - it will not let you go past that. Maybe eventually there'll be some sort of cloud storage to increase that, but not right now. Mapping tricks like setting up zones vice a circle around your house help, but just note that is as much as it will do. Pick up your sticks if you have it set to a low cut - while it can get them off and the razors seem durable, it probably is still dulling them (never worried about this on a rider as I'd just sharpen the blade yearly). It's sorta slow. If you set it to the most optimized it can be, a quarter acre can still take half a day. Blade size is only up to 5.5" - I somewhat like the look this gives on the lawn, but just note it will take a while. It has a maximum cutting speed of 2 feet per second, so about a walking speed. Charging can take upward of 2 or 3 hours to go from 13% (when it returns to charge) to 100%. The accuracy of the GPS does mean mapping can be a pain as you need to run the mower around your cutting area you want, so even a few inches off and it'll miss a portion - without the ability to easily adjust it in the software, you'll need to try editing it and that feature is sorta iffy at best. The software could be better, but it works. Would love a power saving mode, ability to tweak maps via the software, have the software tell when two mowers are running the same area, specify a starting point with each cut, and the ability to specify a portion to be cut vice the whole lot if you have a section grass grows quickly at. Bottom line: This is a stellar mower for the price. If you can afford it, go for the 3000 model as it's definitely an improvement over this one in terms of batter charging time and over twice the blade cutting spread, but dang this really makes your yard look nice still. 5/5 stars even with cons notes because it does it's job and does it well.

This little machine works really well for my small lawn with a lot of different obstacles. It works around my flower beds as well as right up next to my my concrete sidewalk. My yard has a small hill in it and although the tires can spin sometimes getting up the hill it does make it up there and without too much problem. It avoids the dogs, it avoids the toys,it avoids the kids, but it's not perfect. The edging gets close but it doesn't quite replace all edging work that needs to be done. I have to go back and re-edge things about once a month. For someone who has allergies to grass and to pollen, this has been a lifesaver but it is not a complete replacement for the yard work. As far as the mowing goes, it does a great job. I usually run it once a week, sometimes twice a week and I'm very pleased with the outcomes. The grass is cut nicely, but it is not as pristine as they'll show in the videos. The setup isn't very difficult. You do have to use your phone to map out the yard or yards. I set mine up in three different "yards" to map out my one yard because of the different obstacles and it works great. It can take a little bit of time initially but it's well worth it. It also isn't perfect and sometimes it will "explore" into other spaces but with my yard it's not that big of a deal because I do have some raised beds and some bushes the day goes around. The controlling app is fairly user friendly. But it does require a Wi-Fi connection to control the robot and to get it started it does run on GPS as well as well as Lidar. I highly recommend this product. Especially for busy families but you need to make sure you know what you're getting into. It is an investment into your free time.

This is the first robotic mower I've ever owned or tried personally, although I'm a tech enthusiast in general. I really love this model. It took me hours of research and watching review videos and comparing features before I came to the decision to buy the Luba Mini but I'm super happy with the decision. It has everything I wanted in a robotic mower. Some of the key things I wanted were: 1. High cut height for Florida grass types that thrive best in the 3.5 to 4" range. 2. Pleasing aesthetics - some mowers are just ugly, lacking in the visual appeal that I wanted 3. Easy maintenance - since I'm a busy guy, I really wanted a set it and forget it solution and this really does achieve this goal. Only minor periodic maintenance required. 4. High quality app with a good user experience - check 5. Enough battery to cut my whole back yard without needing to stop and recharge. Mostly a check, sometimes it needs a recharge but I have some ideas to fix that, as I think its caused by a steep grade in my yard. Changing the cut angle should solve that and alleviate the extra strain of that grade thus using less power. 6. Don't cut when its raining - check - this model has a rain sensor and won't cut during a scheduled time if its raining. 7. Big enough to cut efficiently and within a relatively short time, but not so big that it looks ugly or oversized for my relatively small yard. 8. AI vision - I wanted something that was using modern smart tech for obstacle avoidance and edge precision. The vision features of the mower help it mow more precisely and more accurately avoid obstacles. 9. Loudness - this thing is super quiet, you can barely hear it just a few feet away. Its totally silent if you're indoors, you'll only know your yard was mowed if you see the mower moving around, otherwise its just magic :) 10. Handle a grade - it needed to have enough power to handle a decently noticeable grade in the yard, while I'm not sure what rating of a grade my yard has, its pretty steep and this mower handles it just fine, no issues. 11. Minimize yard damage - the wheels on this model don't damage the yard, it won't dig in and tear up the grass when making turns if you enable the zero-turn option. Its highly maneuverable. 12. It needed to have space on the chassis to support the installation of googly eyes, to go along with the personality of the aesthetic design. This model has personality, and definitely has some good spots to install googly eyes. Highly recommend you do the same. Oh and give it a fun name. Mine is "M-O" taken from Wall-E based on one of the service bots from the Axiom. I can't say enough good things about this mower, it checked all my boxes, does everything I need it to do very well and as long as it keeps doing those things well - I'll be a happy customer. My (2026 Upgrade) Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500H (named Earl) so far has been excellent. Prior to purchasing I did a ton of research – almost pulled the trigger last year on purchasing this type of mower. There’s a ton of information – so take your time looking at every mower that may fit your need. There’s a pretty good learning curve of how these robotic mowers operate. Make sure you thoroughly read everything in the instructions. A lot of the stuff is pretty straightforward on how you set everything up. There are no short cuts – again read everything and understand how to set things up. It’s shocking how well Earl can navigate our yard. We have a lot of gardens with flowers and vegetables that require careful mapping with no-go zones. Earl would darn near be in the trash if it mowed over any of my wife’s flowers. Dead Earl and scorned husband – so far so good – please Earl continue your positive track record. Positives for Earl Doesn’t complain and low pay Quiet – no loud music or complaining when he’s mowing the lawn company is always coming out with software updates will work all sorts of hours – night or day can work for hours even in the heat accurate cuts like you won’t believe until you see them – trust me you can’t mow this good Frees up my time so I can relax Cons seriously not many for me – most of the time it’s operator error don’t expect to get inches within a border – but pretty darn close slow – but really that’s OK I am too! All in all I hope Earl lasts for a long time. So far it has been an excellent choice for me

Your tech support and all the staff that I have emailed with are very supportive very patient they will answer you the next day the All Wherl Drive works well very impressed to update this review. The robot is solid. If you have a yard that's uneven the majority of the other lawn mower robots will not cut they will get stuck this is also gets stuck It has limitations but it's a lot better than all the other ones. If you have houses next to each other it might get lost because the GPS signal will bounce from one house to another Those areas you might need to still cut with your regular lawn mower. Read the manual use the tech support. The tech support has been very helpful and very patient at an issue with my robot that I had caused. They sent me a new station and your power cord without me needing it they let me keep it. I have one of these in our second home 2 and 1/2 hours away we only see it maybe a month month and a half sometimes 2 months they work well there are no obstructions the RTK and the robot are open to the sky I made sure removed any wires limbs anything that could be caught under the wheels on the blades I'm using their garage to keep the Sun from hitting the robot all day when it's not being used. Read read read official documents and videos that are made from mammotion. Be careful of what you see done to this robot to wash it. Me this is an investment better than my car or my truck because it has saved me money I used to pay $50 to $60 a week I have somebody cut my grass It was never cut properly I never liked the way they cut it My yard had buffalo grass this machine has cut all the buffalo grass I have planted Bermuda grass and it's keeping it nice and even and shock absorbers in front help but stay stable and keep the yard and the grass looking nice and even. I run it at night because in the summer or it's at it's 110°. Known for the winter and they run it during the day it runs really well. Follow the maintenance procedures that are provided. They are people that have reviewed several of these tools robot lawn mowers United States as soon as they get one here I will be replacing the one I have in my other home because they cut really well.

I've owned this for about a month and it has worked flawlessly so far. No guide wires required, just drive it (via the phone app) around your yard and save the area. Unfortunately, you can't edit the map once you accept it, so if you cut a corner too close you will need to re-map the area. There is an undo feature while you're mapping, so that's helpful. It's a small unit, and I have super thick bermuda grass - so I've only cut a max of about 1/4"-1/2" per mowing. The cut is very good. I plan to cut 2 times per week until late June, and then once the growing season starts in July I'll switch to 3-4 times per week. The reason I bought this unit was to tame the back yard, as we have fast growing bermuda, and cutting once a week with a regular mower was creating a **lot** of clippings and thatch. I tried cutting twice a week, but 90+ F heat plus a job and I decided I'd try this first. I'm hoping with the more frequent mowings it will reduce clipping size to an easily degradable form, which would be better for the lawn. The app (Android for me) does a lot of things well, but it misses in a few areas. Don't take these as negatives, it's just that there could be a few more positives. 1) There is no direct-to-manual operation mode. 2) There isn't a task library 3) When a task is running, there isn't a way to see the vital stats easily (mowing pattern, cut height, speed, and cut width). The reason cut height is important is that if it detects tall grass, it will raise the cut height on you and there's no way to tell what it is. 4) A parking area for going between zones would be a nice addition. If you have a gate plus dogs, you can't leave the gate open while the unit is cutting, and it will return to recharge at random intervals. It would be nice if it would send you a note that it needs to access the charging station and request the obstacle (i.e. gate) be opened. Just my thoughts. I hope you enjoy the unit if you decide to purchase.

The mower uses GPS/RTK without an antenna to locate boundaries that you set up by driving the mower along the boundary of your lawn. It is actually amazingly accurate. I would guess within a couple of inches. I ran my boundaries several times and it pretty much stayed withing an inch or so each time it ran them. (Note that they recommend larger boundaries from drops so even though it seems very accurate, they want you to be cautious). I ran into issues with their AI obstacle recognition where it was being overly cautious and turning away from my boundary lines in places because it saw a drop beyond my boundary. It is easy to get their tech support via the chat in the app. They spent a few days trying to get me to use a workaround but after some pushing, they provided a software fix. After that the mower worked well. I think their AI obstacle recognition is still work in progress and tends to lean toward more cautious. It does however seem to spot things well. The mower is very maneuverable and does a good job navigating the yard. It has a lot of mowing options ranging from grass height and speed to things like random patters or set patterns and battery level at which it resumes or stops mowing. Because of the accuracy of the GPS/RTK, it does a good job navigating around garden beds where I established a boundary. It also allows you to draw virtual walls and map out no go zones. These functions work well. They have a function that allows you to map out corridors between yards if your yards are not directly connected. It seems to navigate across mulch, pine straw, and even stone paths quite well. I did have one transition where I had to turn off AI obstacle recognition to get it to traverse the terrain without stopping and making me intervene. Even when it did stop, I could just tell it to continue via the app and it would find away to proceed. I did not have to physically help the mower. This is a bit of an issue (turning off AI obstacle avoidance) given that it uses the same profile (no AI obstacle avoidance) when it gets to the lawn the corridor leads to. (It does not allow you to have one profile for the corridor and one for mowing the lawn at the other end) I was lucky in that the yard it was going to has simple boundaries that it can navigate with GPS/RTK and there are no obstacles to avoid in that yard. Even without AI obstacle recognition, it uses its bumper to work around obstacles (although, my yard did not need this). And even with AI obstacle avoidance on, it seems to use the camera somewhat to figure out how to get around things while navigating (which is nice). I think this is a pretty good mower and would recommend it.
