If it doesn't fit, and you have to return it, it will cost you $60 to ship it back, and if anything is "damaged" or (claimed to be) missing, there is a 30% "restocking fee". So, either way, you'll be a $100 out. It doesn't seem to be there at the time I write this, but there is still a reference to a "fitment table". At the time I ordered it, that list was so ridiculously long I should have been warned. But, the Toyota Matrix was on there, so I ordered it. It didn't fit. Now, I was installing these things when I was 11 on my dad's car for surf boards so I know what I'm doing. Specifically, for the Toyota Matrix it cannot possibly fit in the back because that car has a tapered trim (between doors and roof) that gets wider towards the back of the car and even the longest of three provided clamps was not long enough. But, we got the one in the front to fit (tapered trim remember so much narrower in front) and even that one, when rocking the car back and forth by holding on to this installed product (which is the test for checking whether it's properly installed), it would never have a firm grip. That is to say, instead of rocking the car back and forth, when going left to right, it would slightly move. Imagine being on the highway transporting something on your roof. So, I returned it. First, the return had to be approved by the vendor, which they did with the comment that they recommend it be "professionally" installed. But I was installing these things when I was 11 remember? Also, imagine having to hire a professional installer each time after you have had to take the thing off your roof. This is a BS argument. The installation has to be straightforward (and is) so an 11 year old can do it. Then, once approved, you have to return it immediately so they receive it within 7 days of approval. Beyond that, you risk a "restocking fee" of 30%, which they also invoke if any of the many items is (claimed to be) missing or "damaged". So, I had my son film me when I packed the thing up item by item. Note that at the time of my returning this item, it was temporarily no longer available, which didn't instill trust. Took it to UPS and had to pay $60 to return this $100 product that was falsely advertised. Now, I had gotten Amazon's pre-returning approval that they would reimburse me for the shipping costs whatever they were going to be so I'm out no money on shipping. My argument was simply that this product was falsely advertised as it could not possibly fit the Toyota Matrix as claimed. They also didn't charge me a restocking fee because I announced I had filmed the packing up, plus it got there on day 7 post return approval. So, I got my $160 back but am out wasted time. Order at your own risk. The product is back online, otherwise it would not have been possible for me to write this review. Note how it now says that it does not fit the "Toyota Matrix". Fit my older car easily. Very easy to install and fit cradles onto it. Doesn't add too much height to car. Cap ends do come off easily so I lost one already.

I really could have used alittle more instructions on how to, or web site the bars are sturdy and will do the job for me and you included three pairs of brackets in case we needed them. Thank you that is so considerate. TRUDY
