First keep in mind you pay for what this get! I have been searching for a set of fabric counter stools under $300 with zero success until I found these. The shipping was fast, packaging was fine but assembly was not. The screws included don’t really work so we bought our own and “rigged” it together to make the chairs sturdier. The wood legs are rough in places and I wouldn’t call it distempered but unless you’re on the floor inspecting legs of a counter stool it’s not that Noticeable. Once you get past this the chairs are absolutely beautiful, comfortable and I absolutely love the blue color! Quality wise, I don’t know how long these chairs will last my I’m hoping for at least a year but for the price I’m more than satisfied. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for.
The price was very affordable. The bar chairs are the height advertised. They are nice looking. But-having them fully assembled I can't help but think the design was not thought out: the front foot rest is high causing the knees to be at a 90degree angle. Where as the stationary crossbar in the rear is lower which would make for a more comfortable sitting. Assembling was easy but a bit of a pain. The diagram instructions are not an easy read. The cross bars do not sit flush against the legs. When you tighten those screws, the bars pull away from the legs. On one of the chairs, I ended up having to pound the notch in with a hammer. Designed like this on purpose? I don't know; the instructions tell nothing. After all that, sitting on the chair did not feel extremely sturdy. The notch is exposed. I heard a 'crack' when I slightly moved. I'm a bit disappointed with the quality. I'm stuck with them now. Luckily I had two already which I'll use on a daily ... show more

These chairs are beautiful but not very sturdy. They are lightweight. My children are not heavy so it works for them. Claims to hold up to 250 pounds. I wouldn't trust them.

Great chairs. They arrived earlier than anticipated. The tracking was way off (the box was left with my neighbor) but it made it's way home. They fit perfectly in our little bar area. The only bad thing about them is that once assembled, one chair was uneven. They came with plastic protectors on the bottom of each leg and it made one of them uneven. It was an easy fix though. My husband popped them off and we put our own felt protectors! The wood paint looks like it will be really sensitive so we will have to be careful with the legs. My husband who is all about getting the best of the best ( aka....super expensive stuff!!!) Loved these chairs. Really happy... for the price they are great. If you are looking for an inexpensive way to make your area look beautiful this is definitely an option! Totally recommend them!! ... show more
