We love this coop. It looks super cute and was affordable. We only have 3 chickens. I build an other bigger coop, because it really is too small for them to spend all day in it.

Took me about 2 hours to assemble. I did use some power tools to speed up the process. Stained to prevent rotting and improve longevity. I can fit 4 silkies and one Easter egger comfortably. I did insulate the entire inside and roof. Word of advice if adding extra locks(recommend) drill first as this wood is very soft and easy to split. For the pull out tray, it’s better to use a sand based product or PDZ of sorts instead of pine shavings. For the nesting box I have nesting pads. The ladder can be slippery for feathered legged chickens so I added carpeting which helps. I rated the waterproofing 4 stars because there’s some leakage from the nesting box roof where some holes are. Will need to fill in. ... show more

Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Secured it to the ground and buried chicken wire under it to prevent racoons from digging under.

    • Warped and Unstable after a year.
I’ve had this coop for a bit over a year and it is falling apart. Wood is warping everywhere. So it is now unstable.

Very tiny they don't show actual size only close-up of chickens inside would never hold over 3 chickens if needed to get inside cage you would have to crawl on your stomach also a very misleading video I made a mistake in painting it for weather or I would have sent it back I had to ad another unit to it DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!! ... show more
