When I first got this, I didn't appreciate it as much as I do now. Let me explain... I have two of these now. This one and another I got from Amazon of a different brand. This was the first purchase, the other more recent. When we put this together, it was quite easy to do and took no time at all really. The biggest complaint I have about this is that the latch for the door is a booger when you're inside wanting to latch/unlatch it. The wire is less stout than one might want but it isn't horrible and is easily comparable to others. That aside, I had no major complaints and it was just fine. Then, I decided I needed a second one of these and ordered another of a different brand with better reviews that could arrive sooner than this could. I went with that figuring the better rating/reviews were a bonus and arrival sooner was definitely the mitigating factor. That's where this one started to become epically awesome. I don't know why this doesn't get better rating than it does, but that other one was just awful. So here are the items that made me appreciate this one even more: The wire size. Ohhh lemme tell you! This alone should earn this one 5 stars on its own! The wire this one comes with is the proper width to go pole to pole and not have to jerry-rig the pieces together with zip-ties. This one; Twice over the top and bam, you're done! A single piece on the end, done! The other one? That was a way too narrow roll of wire that became such a nightmare that if I wasn't knee deep in build and in need of it I would have returned it. Included tools, etc: The gloves they provide are nice enough to protect your hands from the wire and abuse. Kudos! ANY tools you need, they provided- including snips to snip the wire with. Kudos! Anchors- the anchors provided are better than the potato nails the other came with. Kudos! Latch- yes, even the latch on this one, despite my complaints about it from the inside, is superior to the other one, which is weird. Door- the door build is also superior. All in all, I would buy this again with no hesitation. How the other one did better in ratings has me completely stumped. I recommend this one hands down!

This enclosure was relatively easy to assemble. The frame is wrapped in chicken wire that you need to cut to size with the included shears. This is a little tedious and time-consuming. Of the four hours I spent assembling this, all but 30 minutes were spent working with the chicken wire. I assembled this by myself and other than a couple of instances, did not think having a partner would have been very helpful to assembly. I did run out of zip ties as I need to secure this against mink and they can slink in through much tighter spaces than raccoons and are typically more determined predators to defend against. I needed about 30 more zip ties but had those on-hand. Time will tell how well the supplied zip ties do as the ones I had are UV-resistant and should last some time outside before needing to be replaced. The pieces were quite dirty so I used the included gloves to assemble the frame and they were absolutely filthy afterward. My only complaint with this enclosure is the disaster they call a door, door frame, and latch. On ours, the door is warped inward (toward itself) slightly, causing the latch to miss interfacing with the receiving side by several inches. This is despite adjusting the U-clamps and sliding T joints. The closest I can get it is so the latch will slide over the first section of the receiving side but with only about 1/8" of overlap. This is laughably insecure against any predator. I ended up drilling and tapping holes for a hook and eye setup that a) reaches and b) works. Maybe we got a bad unit but something to keep in mind.

The media could not be loaded. I recently brought this for my chicken. It comes with the tools that are needed to build it. Sure it was hard at first to build this coop but once you do it for a while then you become use to it and it becomes easier. This helps with helping predators out so that the animals survives. I have possum my backyard and they always die because of the animals. This can help protect the chickens and once I finished it’s really good. The scissors that come is ea,Kay good and cuts through the outer material easily and the gloves come in handy with the sharp materials that you are dealing with. Overall I would say this is a great product to invest in.

Cannot give a good review. My item was bent ...the package was torn open on both ends and torn on the middle part also. Could not use bent pieces for assembly. Requested replacement. Replacement order arrived worse condition that previous. Item sent back. Waiting for third try currently. Did not giving even one Star rating but of course it requires it to continue.

We bought this for our two small dogs as a temporary containment while were building, so they could be outside during the day, its very easy to assemble and is the perfect size. I plan on using this for my chickens once my house is built!

Great value for product but be wary you must cut the wire caging to fit the frame. Zip ties that are included are garbage and easily snap so buy some heavy duty ones.
