Trust me when I say I have tried every self tanner out there. This is by far my favorite of all. It dries quickly and doesn't leave you smelling like self tanner. It lasts a long time and it doesn't turn you orange. A few things to note: Always use a glove when applying - if not your hands will absolutely stain. If this stuff gets in or around your fingernails it looks really bad. Shake the bottle well with each use Don't leave the bottle laying down - this particular tanner is notorious for leaking. Be sure you shave and exfoliate at least 24 hours before applying - the tanner adheres way better to skin that is NOT freshly showered and shaved and your tan will look even and streak free. Less is more - you don't need to over apply - it doesn't help the outcome - trust me. I am really fair but I still use the dark color - lightly though. If I don't over slather - the color it gives me is really pretty. Most people think I just returned from a vacation. I tried the extra dark in the summer - it didn't look good on me at all. I'm happy with the dark shade. I prefer to leave the tanner on overnight. I feel it sets into my skin better and lasts the longest when I do that. I am so impressed with the Loving Tan 2 Hour Express Self Tanner! I left it on for just an hour and a half, and I already had a beautiful, natural-looking tan — no orange tones, no streaks, and no weird patches. It gave me that perfect sun-kissed glow like I just came back from a weekend at the beach. The mousse goes on super smoothly and blends like a dream. I used a mitt and had no issues with streaking or uneven spots. It also dried quickly, which is a big win because I didn’t feel sticky or like I had to tiptoe around the house waiting for it to set. So I am very pale. 50% Irish and 15% Scottish, when I “tan” I get a darker shade of white. Finding a self tanner that not only worked, but was easy to apply was a must. I have been wanting to try this self tanner for a long time, but I was so nervous that it was going to be streaky or patchy. I’ve done my fair share of research and finally grew the courage to try this. From the second I opened the bottle and started tanning myself I was in love. The mouse is super easy to apply, the guide color is amazing and very helpful, the smell is pleasant, and it dries super quick. I used this for my entire body including my face, I slept in this and left it on for about 9 hours. I personally am happier with the results from this self tan than my spray tans. One big reason that I like this better is I control how dark I want my hands, face, feet, etc. Second, my wrists, hands, and feet came out better than a professional spray tan. Which I found shocking at first, but it makes sense because I’m more meticulous than someone else spraying me. Third, I enjoyed putting this on in the comfort of my home and being able to get into bed right after. I didn’t have to drive around and worry about my seat belt rubbing my tan off, or sweating on the way home. I am very pleased with my tan and will continue to use this in the future! Highly recommend from one pale girl to another get this self tanner! You won’t be disappointed.

Love this self tanner. It goes on easily with no streaks and it DOESN’T have a scent. I self tanned this morning before work (7am) had a OB appt at 10am , nurse commented on my tan told her it was self tanner and she was shocked because she couldn’t smell it! Definitely recommend this product!

I would have given this 5 stars because the color, fragrance and ease of application but when you begin pumping it it leaks. I don’t mind paying more but it’s wasted when it leaks. Loving tan, you have an amazing product but fix your bottle. Also I recently bought a new one and surprisingly it’s still the same price from 3 years ago. Thank you for the price but your bottle still leaks in 2025. This is absolutely the best self tanner I have used and believe me I’ve used a hundred well maybe 50. It lasts more than 7 days too.

I was looking to get a self tanner because I was going to Bora Bora to elope and I wanted a nice tan for my big day without having to use a tanning bed. Let me start by saying I have NEVER self tanned before so I'm a total novice. I saw that this was highly recommended by a lot of TikTokers and decided to give it a try. So this is a bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it. The mousse is a dark rich brown color, goes on smoothly and is easy to blend, dries quickly (so it needs to be blended quickly), doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky/tacky, doesn't leave any patches or flaking, doesn't leave streaks, looks totally natural after you wash it off with NO orange tones, lasts a decent while (a few days for me, but I shower daily and use soap/loofah every time), and it fades nicely. It does have that hallmark self tanner smell but I have heard that's pretty hard to avoid and it doesn't bother me because I apply scented lotion daily. I think application technique is key. I use it on dry clean skin, use a mit to apply and blend, leave it on overnight for a deep tan or for 2-3hrs when I need a touch up, I apply lotion to my knees/elbows/hands/wrists/feet before applying tanner. Pretty much just follow the instructions on the bottle and you're good. If you are looking for a self tanner that looks dark but natural and you dont mind spending the money, I HIGHLY recommend this one! This tan looks so natural on me, and there are no visible signs that it is a fake. I get lots of compliments on my skin when I use this! Hope this helps!
