I used to use this product a decade ago or more, so I decided to try it again. Iā€™m on a budget and need a white girlie tan! šŸ˜† This in-shower lotion was under $10! Iā€™ve always liked the tan I get from Jergenā€™s gradual self-tanners, both the lotion and this product. I feel like this one is a little quicker to develop compared to the regular lotion. I attached a pic of my leg 3 days apart. I applied ā€œmedium to deepā€ after my bath 2 nights in a row. I noticed a subtle glow the first time, and now I think Iā€™ve achieved the light tan I was going for! I donā€™t want to look too dark or fake, so now Iā€™ll just maintain it by applying it every 2-3 days. It doesnā€™t stink nearly as much as others do. Itā€™s a little perfumey, but I like it. I havenā€™t gotten too many streaks or patches. No color on my clothing or sheets. When I wake up, I smell a faint fake tanner smell, but it washes away. If I canā€™t shower right away (like when I have to take my son to his bus stop), I just wipe off with wipes and use a smelly lotionā€¦. It works! My tips: Apply it to freshly wet skin, but start with a quarter-size amount. I do my upper body first, use the leftover on my hands to apply to my face, then do my lower half. I avoid going between toes and fingers. On the second night, I also avoided my knees, ankles, and elbows. If you have dry skin, apply a small amount of regular lotion to those areas first (even on damp skin). Scrub any areas that look too saturated to achieve an even tan. Slightly orange in pics, but in person it has a healthy glow and looks richer! Makes me feel more confident in shorts and at the gym. ā˜€ļø ... show more

Gives perfect natural tan with no orange cast. I use it religiously in the summer to look healthy and tan because I don't want sun damage. Doesn't stain clothes or bedding. Very faint smell, not horrible and goes away quickly.

Very good lotion, great and almost immediate tan. Works great in all those ways. I was hoping for a tinting lotion that doesnā€™t have that tanning chemical smell. This lotion has a very pretty smell when applying it, but that fragrance soon gave way to the regular tanning lotion smell. It is GREAT in every way except the slight smell. The smell was no worse and no better than all the other tanning lotion brands, so if you donā€™t mind that after-chemical smell, this lotion is a terrific choice. I got my tan back and it looks awesome!! I can't say enough good things about this stuff! I am a product of the eighties, back when laying out in the sun all day followed by a stint in a tanning bed was the norm. Years and years of excessive exposure to UV and UB rays netted me the lesser evil of skin cancer all over myself. My face, my arms, my back. I haven't worn white in years because you can see the sores. The treatments make them that much worse and I hide in long sleeves etc. I gave up the tanning beds 10 years ago. Naturally, I am a pasty white with freckles and strawberry blonde hair. For years and years I have tried every sunless tanning lotion only to end up looking very orange, Must be my natural red tones. For the last 3 summers, I have used Jergen's Natural Glow daily moisturizer, but have had to add regular lotion to it so it didn't go on so thick and make me look even orangier. It also always accentuated my sun marks and age spots, never giving an even coverage. I really looked hideous as I only did what was exposed in the hot months, like my face, neck, arms and legs. I was intrigued when I found they had a different one that you could apply to wet skin. I read the reviews, they were good, not great, but I'll try anything to get my tan back. Fast forward....... OMG! Now I know why I tanned in the first place. This stuff makes me look like what I used to years ago. I am glowing! The coverage is even, thorough, and actually tan, not orange. It does not make my damaged skin look any redder where I have spots. This new stuff is awesome!!! So much easier and faster to apply than the lotion cause it's going on wet skin. I did get streak marks the first time, but have found the more you rub in, the better the outcome. And a little goes a very long way. I look sun kissed:) I just celebrated my 51st birthday. Someone actually said I look like I'm in my late 30's, early 40's! I no longer see any age or sun spots and my skin is so soft too. For any doubter's out there, I have tried them all. Really, I have. So far this is my favorite faux tan and I have no reason to look any further. Get your tan on!! ... show more

I love the convenience of this self tanner: it's easy to apply- I found it streaked less when applied to slightly damp skin instead of wet skin, it smells good at first but after a few hours it has a subtle "self tanner" smell. Even though no one else could smell it, it still made me self conscious so I mainly used it on days where I planned on being home all day. This is the only self tanner. Iā€™ve tried that also hydrates your skin well, and when it is fading after several days, it does not highlight dark spots. I like the light/medium for just a subtle color and glow.
