update: had for several months and use it every day. still as good as new. works very well. very pleased with it. installed on 2020 impreza. mounted on the somewhat flat, smooth surface in center of dash. has been sticking well. at first it seemed a bit weak but has been working up to expectations. i've only had it a couple months but i'm in and out of the car 5 or times a day at least and put my phone in every time.     • Works well for my needs
I really like this. It seems to work well for my needs. I suspect my phone is a but heavy for it, and i use it daily, many times per day, so it seems to be getting very heavy usage. It may not quite be up to the constant level of usage I'm bombarding it with, cuz even after just a week, I notice the joint where I need to tighten the screw to hold it in place are loosening pretty regularly, and the ball joint area loosens regularly as well. I have to tighten them every few uses, or they slip and slide around. Also, woth a large phone, one that's tall anyway, it sticks well into the visual field of the driver. It's a little tough when making certain turns, but the phone is way too heavy to use with the vent clip. So at some point I suspect I'll need to change it out for something a little sturdier and that can slide a bit lower on the dash. Big, BIG plus: the arm telescopes out enough that it can be pushed down some to account a but for the height of the phone, it can be easily charged in the holder, and it slants well in almost any direction. Additionally, once you get used to the visual disturbance of the phone in the driver's field, it's perfect for seeing exactly where you're going with a good mapping app. Adjusting is pretty quick and easy. And driving without the phone in the holder is not at all distracting! Nice little holder, despite the small issues. Pretty happy with it overall. ... show more

A simple product so 5 stars for it meeting expectations. Installation was easy and it suctioned on my slightly textured truck dash. Very sturdy and holds the phone securely. I bought mine “used like new” and saved a little extra. It only had slightly damaged packaging.

Best mount ever! I haven’t used it on my windows yet but it comes with a black pad that’s very sticky, it goes on your dash and allows you to suction cup it to the dash ( it will more than likely leave something you’ll have to scrape off if you completely remove it, it’s like a sticky gel. But I don’t mind because I can take the mount off the pad to put it on the windshield or use the adapter for the vents, it dosent bounce when driving and holds position better than any other mount I have. I do like it has a slight head movement so u can tilt your phone but other than moving the arm up and down then tighting it in place there isn’t any side to side on the arm but that wasn’t a problem for me to find a comfortable position since I could slightly tilt the head. It can extend a few inches also I will be buying one for all my cars and will def give this as a gift ... show more

Maybe this should have been obvious but this was my first phone holder and when it said it worked with thick cases, I thought cool it's not that thick. Well, we apparently have different definitions of "thick". Wide cases not thick cases. I loved it for the first few days before I got my case and popsocket. I used the suction cup on my dash, held the phone really well (before case). I have the s23 ultra so I was a little nervous with the first big turns thinking it would be too heavy and fly off, but it held. So, great for case-less or "form-fitting" cases but if there's extra "junk in the trunk" of your phone it's not going to work. ... show more
