These cameras (I have 6) are very well-made with a tough non-corroding metalic body and exposed parts. I think it's aluminium. It has a 4X optical zoom and 8-MP allows for plenty of electronic pixel zoom as well. The field at widest is about equivilant to a wide-angle lens (26-mm) on a full frame or 35mm camera - which is adequate and not too distorting. The images are sharp. The night vision is amazing. I can see about 200-feet in pitch black darkness. Negatives: The mounted cameras can only be rotated on long axis and dipped down. You cannot make horizontal angle adjustments at all. This is kind of silly engineering since some horizontal angular adjustment is almost a must for most installations. This requires the purchase of multi-angle mounting hardware - which fortunately is available on Amazon at about $20 each. ... show more

No 30fps recording with LNB9393 & NVR N884, @ 4K: Tech support waiting for firmware update on Camera; Lorex Tech support says no know time frame when update firmware is available. For now this camera is max at 15fps @4K very disappointed, Lorex brochure says, camera is 30fps @ 4K recording with NVR N844. As of 12/12/2023 it is not. ... show more
