LORDONE Replacement 7500mAh Battery Compatible with Sun Joe and Snow Joe 24V Battery for 24VBAT-LTW 24VBAT-LTE 24VBAT-LT 24VBAT 24V-X2-SB18 24VBAT-XR iON+ System for Joe iON+ 24V Series Battery $36.56: This is the THIRD time that I ordered a product from the LORDONE brand. It is also the third time that I received a perfectly functioning, excellent quality product. This company is 3 for 3 with a perfect track record in my book. This brand has really earned my respect. VALUE: This battery is almost HALF the price of the OEM brand name ($36.56 vs $70) yet the LORDONE battery provides a HIGHER capacity. It was an easy decision to get another battery from this brand. LORDONE battery maintained a steady voltage throughout its charge. The battery did not get hot except when I'm maxing them out in my inverter. The first thing that stands out is just how BEEFY a 7.5Ah (7,500mAh) battery is. Usually, the drawback of high capacity batteries is weight and size. But, this battery is not much heavier. Taller yes, but still compatible because the connection area has the same dimensions as the OEM battery. COMPATIBILITY: The battery seems to be fully compatible with the Snow Joe OEM charger that came with my device. Although this battery is taller and beefier, the connecting pins and housing on the top is identical to OEM which gives it a perfect fit (pic1). CHARGING: It takes longer to charge to 100% (3.5 to 4 hours) because the battery has a larger capacity. For reference, my original OEM Snow Joe battery is 4Ah and takes about 2 hours to fully charge in the quick charger. This battery is almost DOUBLE the capacity and so it takes almost double the charging time. PERFORMANCE: The reason I got this high capacity replacement battery is because of what I use it for. In addition to using it in my power tools, I connect the battery into an inverter and use it like a power bank. This larger battery has a capacity of 180 watt hours. I determined it's capacity using the following formula: Amperage x Volts= Watt•hrs 7.5Ah x 24v=180Watt•hours For reference, a 6w LED bulb can be powered by 1 battery through the inverter for 24 hours: 180w•hour ÷ 6w= 30hours. Another example using a higher wattage device, 180watt TV can run for 1 hour with this battery. NOTE: use Amp•hours (Ah) not milliamps (mAh) when performing calculations. If a battery is rated in mAh, divide by 1,000 to convert to Ah. FINAL THOUGHTS: This battery is an EXCELLENT value. Even when my inverter is draining them at full drain, it provided a constant voltage and didn't overheat. Only when I run the inverter at max wattage does it even get hot. So far this have been very reliable. I HIGHLY recommend this brand. They seem to produce very high quality products.

I have several of the "joe brand" 24V power tools, but I lacked any high capacity batteries over about 2000mAh. A couple of my tools are higher draw, particularly my blower tool, so adding a higher capacity battery (like this one) to my setup was a priority. I ordered this battery and it was delivered same-day. It arrived well packaged and undamaged, with double cardboard boxes and a layer of bubble wrap. The battery itself is fairly heavy - which gives me confidence that it is somewhere close to the advertised 7500mAh rating. I would prefer to not disassemble this battery to confirm cell size and do the math, however, if I start to become suspicious that this battery is underperforming I will do exactly that. For now, there's no need. The battery arrived with 2 of 3 "bars" of power (I really like the Sun Joe power indicator - helpful to determine if you should start your project or charge up batteries first), and a little over 23V charge. Since it was left out on my porch overnight and a cold front had come through, I brought the battery in and let it warm up before putting it on the charger. You should never charge lithium (or any, really) batteries when they are cold, e.g. below 40 degrees, as it can damage the cells. The battery also fit securely into all of the tools I tried it with. The case of the battery is extremely high quality, very close (if not better) than OEM. I only say "if not better" because most of my current batteries have quite a few miles on them, so of course this brand new one will look nicer. Five stars for this high capacity battery replacement for 24V Sun Joe tools. Highly recommended! If I run into any issues with this battery as I use it over the next few years, I will absolutely update this review.
