I have a larger upper half than bottom and these skirts balance out my appearance. I have four of these in different patterns and love them to death. They feel great to wear too. The black skirt appears to be translucent to the light, but has a mini-slip inside for this reason. The patterned skirts sometimes do and sometimes do not, but they are also busy enough to hide anything underneath. The material is light and airy. During late Fall and Winter I have be wearing them with leggings underneath. As light as they are, they keep the wind off of the leggings to stay warm. When it says "hand wash" it means it. These things bleed dye incredibly bad for multiple washes. I generally only fully wash them when they are soiled or something is spilled on them at this point. I have been using a gentle detergent in a large bowl in the sink to wash them. After several washes, the water still runs blue, purple or whatever color they are all the way through. I don't know how they would hold up to washing in the washing machine, but I have no tears or busted seams and I've owned multiple skirts of this brand since June and its December now. ... show more

It's not quite what I expected. It does not wrap at all. You slip it on and there is a tie. Fine, it is still lovely. But dang it is LONG! But that is coming from a short girl. I am 5'2" and this short girl is getting a couple inches taken off so it doesn't get absolutely filthy every time I where it. I swear it gets dirty when I THINK about wearing it! That's how long it is. All laughing aside, it is beautiful and I love that I don't have to worry about it being too sheer, because it isn't. I kept looking this way and that through different lighting and it has been fine. So now I don't worry. It does have this weird bit of linen lining or something but it is sewn upward, the opposite direction you would think, and is always crawling up. I cut it off. Carefully! But I cut it off. In less than a week. Yeah I voided being about to return it, didn't care. I planned on keeping it, I liked it that much. Even with having to pay a friend to cut it a little shorter. Short girl life. But the fit around the waist was as expected. The way is fit around my body was as expected. Other than not being a full or partial wrap. Just look at it this way, it's a no work skirt! These are crazy-flattering and the prints are really well done. Be sure to read the washing instructions, as this is great summer/winter material, but how often do you wash a skirt, actually? I'd pop it into a lingerie bag, and use cold water, gentle cycle. I am really happy with this.

I really liked the look of this skirt and purchased it even though it said one size. Usually when skirts have the stretchy waist bands, they have a decent amount of stretch. And when clothing is "one size" it usually runs a little on the middle to bigger size to accomodate more body sizes. This skirt did not deliver on that. The waist started off incrediby small and the amount of stretch in the wait was nothing to speak of. If they made various sizes, I would totally purchase the right size because it is a cute pattern and style. ... show more

I have most all designs of these, in all colors. The blue one is my favorite, I get so many compliments on it, 4 just yesterday! They are comfortable, they flutter and are soft and super colorful. Perfect fit. I am 5'5 1/2 " 120#. Length is appropriate. I will use it to teach my Qigong class and Yin Yoga. The underlying slip (reaches mid thigh) is a little thick and causes the skirt to poof. I may cut this out altogether, I have not tested to see if it light causes transparency. will update.
