These are really well made, fit perfect, are functional (using finger to type on keyboard and on phone), they are not think. They are lightweight but super warm (it was high 30's Fahrenheit this morning when I went out). Perfect for driving as well, solid grip on the steering wheel. I even got a complement from the cashier while shopping. The color is gradient (I got a purple one) and I love it!! I had forgotten I was wearing them while others I have to get them off as soon as ever needing my hands for anything! They did have a smell when they arrived but after a day airing out they were fine. I haven't tried washing yet, I may only do a handwash and lay flat to dry if they ever need it. I did wipe them down after getting home from the grocery store (just a barely damp cloth with a dab of gel hand sanitizer). They MIGHT be giftable if you can air them out before wrapping and wipe them down with a slightly damp cloth and gel hand sanitizer (I got the cloth damp - put hand sanitizer on my hands, and applied to the cloth then, wipe them off front and back). Then after completely dry you could wrap and gift.

I purchased two pairs of these, one for myself and one for my boyfriend. Our hand sizes differ somewhat, as his hands are about a quarter to a third larger than mine. These seemed like they would fit us both and I liked that it had the screen touch ability. These fit me perfectly. They were snug without being at all too tight, so I don't think that they will shift around on me while I'm out doing cold winter things. The grip seems like it will work well enough when I next have to go out and remove ice or snow from my car, which was one of the big reasons I wanted new gloves. They were more snug on my boyfriend. He said that they were a little tight, but still usable. I would say that we both have average sized hands for men and women, so take that how you will. I think his will stretch a bit over time, as most gloves tend to do the more you wear them. The phone touch aspect worked well. I had both of us test our gloves out on my Android phone and there were no issues in that area. These seem like good quality and like they will hold up for a long while. They were definitely warm and cozy when I had them on, so I think that they will hold up fine outside. My only caution is that its warmth will depend on what you are doing. If you are going about and doing general things outside, these will work perfectly well. If you want to go out and do a lot of activity in the snow, like building snowmen, skiing, or what have you, you will want to get something more specifically designed for that. These feel like they could handle some activity out in the snow, but they're made of knit material and aren't going to repel water like the more heavy duty gloves will. As others have stated, I haven't washed these yet so I can't tell you how they will hold up to a wash. I'll probably just follow the manufacturer's recommendation and hand wash them though, just to be on the safe side. The price for these are good. They're decent quality and they're probably cheaper than what I would pay in store for an equivalent pair. I could definitely find cheaper, but from experience I can say that those are usually of lower quality. Gloves are one of those areas where you want to get a deal, but you also want to make sure that you're buying quality.

These Achiou Winter Gloves do a really good job at keeping my hands warm and cozy in cold weather — that’s definitely their strong point. The material feels soft and the fit is comfortable for both men and women, so wearing them for long periods isn’t an issue. My main gripe is with the touchscreen functionality. While the gloves are advertised as touchscreen-friendly, I found that typing on my phone is hit-or-miss. Sometimes it works, but more often I have to remove a glove to use my phone properly, which is frustrating in the cold. Overall, I’d say these are great for warmth, but if you’re relying on them for consistent phone use, they might not meet your expectations. Still, a solid choice for outdoor winter activities where your hands need protection from the cold.

TL;DR: Use the size chart provided by each seller, people! They are accurate for each brand! I bought somewhat similar knit gloves today from two different manufacturers. Both had size charts, and their charts were very different. I measured my hands. This seller (brand Achiou) indicated that I should order Medium, and the gloves fit perfectly. The other seller (brand Cooljob) indicated that my hands are smaller than their Small - and indeed, those gloves fit much less well. In any case, these Achiou gloves are very nice, and the white/khaki color is true to the photos. Right out of the bag, the touchscreen sensitivity is excellent. These gloves will be perfect for Seattle winters which typically range from 40 to 55F. Below 40F I would not expect them to be warm enough for more than driving or brief outdoor exposure, nor sturdy enough for outdoor work or anything other than casual recreation. About the sizing: I am an older female and always thought my hands were small-to-medium. Small exam gloves, for example, are difficult although not entirely impossible to get on because they are so snug, while Mediums are typically a little bit too loose. Medium in this brand is perfect for me. Hope that helps.
