Used on staircase. Works great when heading down stairs, but because of the location of the sensor, takes a while for it to see you when going up the stairs. Not the ideal location for this style of light, but I couldn't find anything else that suit my taste. Very easy to install.

I like the different settings. Would prefer the settings to be a switch on the light instead of the light switch. M husband keeps turning off the switch and changing the setting. I like the dusk to dawn option.

Perfect brightness , yet gives off a nice soft illumination.Is well constructed.. This is the only light I could find that dims with no motion .Available in multiple colors . I am not very handy & I installed this fairly easy . This was a replacement.

    • Good low light visibility without glare and without light smear

This led motion sensor light was installed on a garden shed above a door, so it was above the min 6 foot height recommended. The light color is slightly warm, which makes seeing the lighted area from 150 feet rather clear, and it did not have the distortion that would have come with a blue spectrum light. The led light is directed in a controlled area, so it doesn't light up areas around where light is not wanted. Additionally, the light level is a pleasing level and not excessive, while still providing sufficient light in it's normal state during the night. Installing the light was straightforward. The housing seems durable and has a consistent black paint finish. The motion sensor detected me when I reached a distance of around 20 feet from the light, and the light brightness increased, by my estimate, around 50% as a result, so it was more than bright enough to see a key slot and avoid obstacles as I approached the shed. The one deficiency is that on windy days, due to trees nearby, the light brightness cycled on and off frequently due to branches moving about. The unit does not have a sensitivity adjustment, which would have addressed this issue. ... show more
