True to size for me and sadly it arrived too late for the day I need it. Actually it arrived the day I needed but I was 2 hrs from home and gone for the rest of the weekend for a formal event by time it arrived. I ordered this due to the high chance of rain that day, along with the fact that my favorite London Fog trench coat no longer fit me. So, now I have to wait for my next rainy formal to wear it. Thanks to all my Star and IORG events, I should not have to wait too long before I can wear it out and about instead of it hanging in my closet. The only down side is it's not the London Fog trench coat I bought years ago that had these neat hook clasps, no belt, but an hour glass figure cut to that one. Oh how I loved that coat but it no longer fits, so I ordered this one. I love this one too, I just miss my old one's hook clasps and lack of belt features.

I've been in search of a trench coat but didn't want to spend the $$$. When this came on sale during Prime Day I jumped at the chance to purchase it for a significant discount. I am 5' 125 lbs and the medium fits me fine with room to wear a sweater without it being tight.

Update: I ordered the XXL , unfortunately I have to return this one too. Shoulders are still cut entirely to small. I even measured as instructed. Thebrestbof the jacket fit great. I was afraid to give myself a hug though. Gorgeous trench and great feel. I have searched for a plus size with no luck. Gorgeous London Fog trench! Material is perfect and length too, has a nice weight to it, can definitely be worn spring to late fall. Color is definitely tradional khaki absolutely beautiful. I like it has inside button and a hook eye at neck as well. Definitely a well made garment. Unfortunately have to exchange for the xx-large. I am 5'7 plus size (225lbs). The shoulders were cut too small right up to the armpit, barley could fasten the jacket. I normally wear xl with shirts, jackets etc, this one came in shy of fitting properly. A little disappointed in reviews I based my size on their reviews and sizing.7 Excited for the replacement to come in! I will give an update when it does

The images are from London Fog website. This is the exact product I received. Amazon has a different photo, probably an old one. My coat is 100% polyester and it has a nice heavier weight. It feels warm enough. I live in rainy Northern California region. I was looking for a winter trench coat. I am sure this qualifies for that purpose. I am 5 ft 8 inches tall. The coat length is right at my knee. I got a good deal, so I am keeping it.

I ordered this great trench coat. Unfortunately the one that was shipped to me was 100% polyester and not the cotton/polyester blend that was advertised. I also ordered one in another size that came 2 weeks later and is the cotton/poly blend. It is also not as heavy as the polyester one.

I highly recommend this trench coat! I bought it for an extended winter trip to Europe. Debated taking a wool coat, a puffer, or a trench, and was very glad I settled on this! Multiple times I walked an hour in pouring rain with no umbrella. While my colleagues got soaked in their puffers, I remained 100% dry. The length helped keep my pants completely dry in driving wind. I was not only warm and cozy, but stayed looking professional I think! I put this trench "through the ringer" during travels to multiple cities, and it looks good as new. Love it!
