This thing is awesome, I only found this thing because I was looking for DMMs with 20A current measuring capability and capacitance measurement and this one checks all the boxes, If you want a nice decent reliable DMM that can handle high current and has good features, get this one, it's fairly inexpensive and works like a charm. ... show more

This product is very functional with a reasonable price. It does the job very well. I can't imagine what is special about the pricier models. The only drawback is the instructional. I am glad it came in a printed version that came with the device, but some of the directions are confusing. It is a little difficult to match the screen setting with the dial if you are a beginner like me. I was able to find the right settings eventually but could not find ready go to in the booklet like the VOLTAGE test. I do recommend for light duty multi-meter/voltmeter purposes. ... show more

This meter is perfect for anyone who is looking for one meter to do almost everything you need it to do in HVAC. I haven't used it a lot yet but what I have used it for it has been great! I like the fact that it can be installed on any metal surface thanks to the built-in powerful magnet it was very useful with my motorcycle. Great quality product, and good accuracy. I did Put it on the side of my klein MM1000 and tested all the features that they share and they were pretty much the same, just the temp feature is a little bit slow and a couple of degrees over but for me it's just ok. I will update it in durability let's see what happens, but for now I'm happy and I recommend it. ... show more

    • Until purchasing, I was of the notion (at least with electronics) that you get what you pay for!
For the price, there is no way this durability and functionality can be beat. As a licences electrician, as well as a degree'd electronics technician, I was looking for an all-around home digital multi-meter. I have the Flukes for my trade, where I once believed one had to spend $300+ on a meter to obtain accurate component diagnosis. This meter does all that my Fluke does (plus more) for more than 1/10th the cost. From functionality to durability, even if considering for the trades, this meter purchase is a no-brainier.     • There's no Min Max Function
I purchased this meter to track down a parasitic loss in my car. Two things made me purchase this model. First, it will measure current draw up to 20Amps. Most meters are only going to 10A max. Second, in the official pictures of the screen there is clearly the "Min_Max" words in the upper left corner of the screen. Upon using it, I am VERY disapointed to find that there actually is no Min_Max function. Just a hold button. Kind of think this is false advertising. Good meter otherwise, just wish it had a Min_Max so I didn't have to sit and stare at the meter extended periods of time. ... show more
