The colors and the pattern came out great. It looks beautiful. I have not tried to wash it yet. I did buy a pad with the exact same measurments, also from Amazon. The pad measured just as advertised but the rug width was off by 3 inches. I will have to trim my pad and fingers crossed it doesn't fray. Do not buy this rug if you are looking for something soft like a woven rug. This is very durable and printed on design not woven in. There is no piling at all to it. I was so nervous to order a rug online, and was especially not keen to return one. My biggest fear was that it would just be printed onto woven fabric, but that was not the case! This rug is thin, but it has a rubber grip padding and a beautiful weave that makes it so stunning. The colors and pattern were the perfect pop for my dining space. I am awaiting new furniture delivery so I canโ€™t show it with furniture, but this area rug looks great against my bamboo laminate floors. It looks relaxed and the colors are muted. I bought three of these rugs in different sizes. The colors are muted and soft. This larger rug is a bit more "vintage" than I would have wanted but for the price I will keep it. These rugs really warm up my rooms and looks great on our hardwood floors.
