This rug has a beautiful printed pattern and very fine, tiny woven texture. It’s thin, and absolutely smooth to the touch. Kind of plastic feeling, so if you want to lay on it and it will bother you to not feel a natural material, then reconsider. It’s not scratchy, it’s more like a spongey yoga mat with a rayon feel. My husband’s first reaction was to ask me to send it back and buy a real rug! The reason I bought it was honestly that I saw it on a designer’s Instagram (in the navy color). I knew all of ^^ things and wanted a rug that could withstand pets and kids, and that if our young family destroyed, I wouldn’t lose sleep over. This was around $300 for a 9x12! I was drooling over a real Oushak rug on another site that had similar patterns and colors, and cost several thousand. So. I’ve had printed rugs from Safavieh etc before and have to say, the subtlety of these colors is a far cry from the colors and prints I’ve had before. It’s beautiful! Navy, denim, and slate blues, faded sienna and copper, sage green, dark taupe, antique rose. The ONLY thing I will criticize about this rug is the color description and photographs used to advertise it. I was expecting a warm ivory base. It is much darker than that. In photos, the pinks really jump out. In real life, the overall impression is a light/medium blue rug with some dark tan/light sage in the middle, and pink and navy accents. Lovely, if that’s what you’re after. You really can pull so many different colors out of it. I think it’s super versatile. HOWEVER If you need a light rug, then I’m not sure this will work for you.

I fell in love with this rug when I stayed at a boutique hotel on the LI sound in NY. I took a picture of the label and found it on Amazon. I was shocked at how well it was priced. It has a vintage look with a modern coastal vibe. As a matter of fact, I just had a designer come to my home this week and she loved the rug and told me to keep it as I’m looking to redecorate the room. She didn’t ask where it was from or how much it was, but she said she wants it part of the room. FYI- she’s an interior decorator from Ethan Allen. Another plus- it works great with two active golden doodles and vacuuming is effortless! Buy the rug!!

This rug I got is EVERYTHING I was looking for to brighten up our living room! It is the perfect combination of subtle light blues, pink, and sage green which goes with the color palette I envisioned for this room. The other reviews had me nervous that the colors would be faded but I’m glad I took the chance. I’m happy to say the colors look exactly what I was expecting it to look like (even on my cell phone taking a photo of the rug, it looks 100% as pictured). The background of the carpet is a beige color which I love because I wasn’t looking for a bright white carpet. It looks great against my white/cream couch. Super soft and comfortable but still durable enough for the living room. Right now we don’t have a rug pad underneath it and it is soft enough support without a rug pad. However, we are going to purchase a rug pad for underneath it because we often sit/lay on the floor with our dog, and would like extra padding but, that’s our personal preference. Overall, so happy I got this rug! Great price & quality design for a 9x12!

My main complaint is the rug is much darker in color than the photos online. My first photo it is on top of an ivory wool rug to show contrast in color. There is a white pillow on the chair. No filters in the photo. I have seen all the photos on the manufacture website and other online sources. There is no ivory in the ivory-multi color. It’s more a dark tan. The colors are otherwise pretty. It will provide nice contrast to my couch but I just was hoping it to be a bit lighter to brighten the room. It seems excellent quality. It is very thin as in the second photo but I expected that. A good rug pad is needed. Overall I wanted an affordable rug that seemed easy to clean, dog friendly and baby friendly. It is a soft yoga mat-like material with a cotton feel. I think it will be good in a high-traffic area and will cover stains well due to the coloring and the pattern. I won’t shed too many tears if it needs to be replaced in a few years due to its affordability compared to a wool hand-loomed rug. It would make a good kitchen table rug as chairs won’t snag and also good for kitchen floor mats.

UPDATE: After returning the large rug I had bought for our living room, I decided to try some smaller sizes (in Java) for 1) our mudroom/laundry room and 2) in front of the kitchen sink. I cannot believe how well they've held up! They still look brand new even though those are the two wettest, dirtiest parts of our home. I was worried they'd stain or get weird spots based on some reviews but...nope! AND we added two kitten to our household and I've watched them scratch at the kitchen rug repeatedly but there's no damage. Five stars for sure! ORIGINAL REVIEW: There are such mixed reviews about these rugs I was really unsure. Some have described it as a yoga mat, and I sorta get that. It's super thin, with a cottony backing. It lays flat instantly and I actually love it. I played board games with my kids on it, and while it isn't plush, it is certainly inviting! The Beige/multi definitely reads "navy". If you put this in a room with lots of white, it will probably read "dingy" as well. For our home, with dark wood floors and darker furniture, it just looked vintage/distressed. It does snag, and it can get indentations in it if folded. No idea if they would come out but seems like it would take some work. I included a pic of a snag and an indentation. I decided not to keep this rug because it wasn't quite the coloring I was going for, but I ordered another printed rug from Loloi for our playroom because I liked this one so much!

This is a fantastic purchase. The color is like faded denim, with warm rose/gold tones, which match my mid-century furniture and my British classics dining table just fine. I bought the runner first to make sure that i liked the coloration. There is a smudge line on the runner where it looks like the printing "slipped," but I can live with it. When the dining room rug (7'6" x 9'6") came my heart sank b/c it seemed it was a different coloration, it's reverse rolled so the design is on the outside. I'm glad I opened it and rolled it out. It was simply that the design is so much larger. The living room rug (9' x 12') came. I ordered rug pads to make sure the rug wouldn't slip. It's quite soft and feels just "cushy" enough. I'm going to get some UV protective spray because I have loft windows and the sun in Hollywood is intense. I'm happy with the purchase. I easily handled both rugs by myself.

I like the look of the rug, it is very thin though. My main gripe is that the rug came in a square box, folded up and it’s full of wrinkles and bumps. I have had it laid out for 5 days and it’s still not flat…considering returning it.
