I am VERY impressed with this rug. It’s by far the nicest and the most hefty rug I have in my whole house. I used it in my nursery but now I’m wishing I got the cream one for my bedroom too!! You know when you get a good rug when you unroll it, and it doesn’t take but a couple minutes to flatten out! Rug doesn’t have a distinct plastic or chemical smell, and the thickness is wonderful.     • Absolutely beautiful until you need to clean.
We have had this rug for a few months and loved it. It does have an excessive amount of shedding and fills the vacuum up almost every time you use it. However, we had to clean a spot off the other day and have major issues now. The spot was small but we used the rug doctor to treat and suction a small area. We worked on another spot at the same time. Since wool takes a while to dry, we were thinking the initial color difference would correct itself after a few days. It has been 4 days and the rug is completely dry. Both spots that were fully cleaned now look like someone has wet on the rug. It has a brownish water stain and the gray color is gone from the rug as if the dye has washed out. This is unfortunate because the rug was expensive and only a few months old. Since it is in the main traffic area, we cannot use it anymore. ... show more

I got the Polly in charcoal and it’s incredible. It is wool/jute so you get some of the natural fibers shedding, which is typical for this type of rug. The color is so neutral, a slight blue gray taupe in the inner squares and a soft ivory. It’s stunning. Don’t hesitate. It does have some fibers sticking up, but easy to trim those loops. It is not a soft rug, it’s firm underfoot like a jute or sisal rug would be. ** updating my review and dropping stars because i have noticed areas where loops are missing and fibers are pulling out. still love the look and texture, but quality is lacking. ... show more

... and I cannot recommend this product. I absolutely loved the patterns and colors in this rug line. The berry one fit the design of my living room like a charm. After 6 months of wear, it continues to shed as it did on day one. So many threads came loose. The rug itself is very scratchy and uncomfortable to sit on. It looks terrible and I'll probably end up exchanging it in the near future. Very disappointed in the quality as I really admire most of the collections Loloi did with Chris Loves Julia and had my heart set on buying others for the rest of the house. ... show more

Omg, this rug is the room upgrade I never knew I needed. Its worth the hype and always sells out so if you see it, get it. Things to note: 1. The feel - its not plush, feel very textured under the feet like hotel carpet? But I love that grounded feeling. 2. It does shed and will show on black socks, even after vacuuming, so I only recommend on lower traffic areas like under the bed. Its not a lay on and lounge rug. 3. The color is a ivory beige tone. 4.
