It's a shiny material, but not tacky. I'm glad I purchased it! Unique, Casual, and Comfortable My husband gave me this hoodie for Christmas. For reference I am 5’8”, weigh 145lbs and a 36B bust. The color is a peach and gray ombré. The fabric was really light and you could see ever wrinkle in my cheap bra. It felt kinda like work out fabric. The hoodie strings were also very long. Cons: the hood was kinda small like it was made for a baby head. -the stitching in both the shoulders were weird like there was a pull of sorts -the thin material allows you to see imperfections in your bra. Pros: the color was really unique. I wasn’t sure how much I liked it at first and then it really grew on me and now I love it. I also got compliments on it during the day. -while the fabric was light enough to see all imperfections it was very comfortable. I felt cozy in it the whole time. -I felt the fit is true to size. I own three of these sweatshirts from this seller and brand. You need to know that while the styles and fit are all the same, the fabric differs depending on the color that you buy. I own Light Caffeine and Black and they are both a matte, jersey knit type of material. I also own Gray and it is a shiny material with a lot more polyester in it. I really like the Black and Light Caffeine material and think it's very attractive. The Gray is too shiny and looks cheap. If I'd seen Gray in the store, I probably would not have bought it. Other than that, the shirts wear and wash well, fit true to size, and are comfortable. ... show more

I’m 5’11”, 135 lbs, usually wear a small or medium. I ordered a medium and for me it’s too small. I think a “hoodie” should be a little roomier so you can wear something underneath. Specifically for me, the sleeves are too short. Disappointed because they look extra long in the picture!

So as the previous posters noted, this is a very thin fabric and it almost has a shiny sheen to it. It looks better in pictures than it does in person, in my opinion. I end up keeping it and wearing it to work out in - it was 47 degrees & raining this morning and it works just fine over a sports bra and tshirt. I would not wear it out, it looks a bit cheap. As far as size, I'm 5 foot even, 130 lbs, 34DD bust. I got a medium and it's loose- which works well over workout clothes for me and it's long enough that it comes down mid thigh on me. ... show more

I like the fabric. It's actually warmer than I expected which is good. My complaints are that the bands of fabric around the wrists and waist are not lighter in color as depicted. They're the exact same darker gray as the rest of the sweater, which was dissapointing. Also, the draw string around the collar isn't a real drawstring. It doesn't tighten the collar. It's just a long string threaded through the collar that doesn't do anything. ... show more

Update: I liked the first top I bought in black (review below, 1st pics), so I decided to buy a second one in grey. I liked the contrast of the flowers vs the sporty stripe on the hood and edges of the top. Unfortunately, though the fit is still decent the fabric is not good. According to the tag its 85% polyester and 15% cotton, and is very thin and shiny. The material of the black one was not as slick and shiny. I so so wanted to love this top, but it will be going back. I added pictures to hopefully show the sheen of the fabric and the fit. Again, I am 158 lbs @ 5'3", measuring 36D/DD-34-43 and I bought a Medium. Black top review: I like this top enough to think about getting more. It's not a perfect top, but the pros outweigh the cons. I like that the fit is not too tight nor too loose, and the length is right at the hip (fyi-doesn't cover my butt). The pocket in front camouflages my tummy pooch, but after wearing once the corner of the pocket has come away from the shirt. It's no biggie for me because I can just sew it back together. I am 158 lbs @ 5'3", measuring 36DD-34-43 and I bought a Medium. The flowers seem shockingly large at first. I think that people will either hate it or like it. It took me a few minutes of wearing it to decide I like it. The material is slightly thicker than a t-shirt, perfect for fall or spring. It may be slightly sheer, but not noticable in black. PS: I marked this "fit as expected" because I thought I bought a Large. Since I actually bought the Medium and it fit so well, I think this fits "somewhat large." ... show more
