I'm giving this 5 stars, even though only one of the 2 worked. The other one wouldn't light at all, but the seller refunded my money. I searched endlessly to find a high output light for my floor lamp. This one does an admirable job, and is exactly what I was looking for. Please be aware that this bulb is so large that it won't fit in a standard harp. The only way I was able to use it, was to purchase an 11"-12" harp, then pull the sides of the harp away from each other to make it wider. After doing that; it was still difficult to install, as I had to VERY carefully manage to get the bulb to fit in the harp without breaking it. I highly recommend wearing glasses while installing this bulb in a harp, as breakage could cause serious eye injury. ... show more

I would probably give five stars but one fell apart on upacking when the contact/rivet the holds everything to the screw fixture just fell apart. So yeah, they are a little cheaply constructed and that was a concern but they've been installed a few weeks with no issues. The broken one was replaced promptly. ... show more

I just had an occasion to use this bulb and immediately I was pleased with the amount of light it generated. My review did not include a rating for longevity because it remains to be seen just how long it will last. But I am very very pleased with the light generated from this bulb.
